Features
Use this tool to manage and track project requests including; change requests, problem reports, software bugs or incidents. You can also define your own request types and each of these can have its own request work flow. Fast Track - Request Management includes PRINCE 2 Support and integrates with MS Visual SourceSafe.

Requests are progressed by using the Progress command. This command will automatically identify the next state, determine if the request has to be auto assigned to a predefined person and also determine if a mandatory comment is required from the user (auto prompt).
You can attach files to a given request and also configure Fast Track - Request Management to send out Email notification to the new assignee.
Tools
The following tools are now available. Not all of these tools are shipped with all versions of CMW.
New Request - use this to create a new request.
Workflow Request - use this to maintain and progress requests as defined in the request work flow.
Simple Request - use this to maintain and progress requests without being constrained by the request work flow.
To Do List - adds an icon to the Windows notification area and can be used to view all requests that are assigned to the current user.
Fast Track Browser - an explorer type tool that can be used to browse and view requests using pre-defined filters and views.
CMW Reporter - developed using crystal reports. Use this to search and filter, export to Excel, Word and PDF. Can be extended to include user reports.

User-defined filters can be written in VBScript or JScript. TextPipe comes with an Engine that can be embedded in other applications. Audit logs keep track of the filter lists run, files modified and changes made. More than 200 example filter files are included along with a comprehensive online manual. HD Workbench is a Windows 2000/XP utility that can be used to examine your disk's health utilizing S.M.A.R.T. and read/write disk tests. Data can be evacuated from failing disks by making an an exact sector by sector clone of the failing drive. Individual volumes can be backed up to raw image files and the MBR and individual boot sectors can also be backed up and restored.

Proxy Workbench is a unique proxy server ideal for developers, trainers and security experts that displays its data in real-time. You can actually see the data flowing between your e-mail client and the e-mail server, web browser and web server or even analyse FTP in both Passive and Active modes. Socket Workbench is the definitive tool for analysing socket communications that underlie the Internet and several types of inter-process communication. Configure Socket Workbench to be a socket client (like a web browser or e-mail client) or a socket server with ease. You can send data through a socket and analyse that data that has been received.
