AutoProject for AutoCAD is a plug-in for AutoCAD 2000, 2000i, 2002 and 2004. This plug-in gives AutoCAD the ability to project 3D entities to 2D entities in the XY plane in the AutoCAD model space.
A common but inefficient method of creating workshop ready drawings is to create the top view, the front view, a side view and sometimes an isometric view of a 3D model all in the 2D XY plane. Then these 3 or 4 views are placed relative to each other to give the end user a complete idea of what the 3D model is all about. Experienced draftsmen have confirmed that the isometric view is the one that takes most of the time, whereas the orthographic views only end up adding to the time spent in completing the drawing. A closer look at this method will show you that, in effect, you are drawing a single entity 4 times over, one for each view.

Mesh To Solid for Rhino is a plug-in for Rhino 2.0 and 3.0. This plug-in gives Rhino to ability to convert a mesh into a solid.
A mesh is a useful entity when it comes to defining geometry of an object. However, certain Rhino commands such as boolean operations, offset, extrusion, etc, cannot be performed on meshes. Moreover, Rhino does not export meshes to IGES, STEP, ACIS, ParaSolid, VDA and similar file formats, thereby rendering the mesh model useless for further solid modeling in another CAD system. Rhino imports STL, OBJ and other similar files as meshes only. If you need to modify these imported objects you need to convert them into solids.
Rhino has an internal "MeshToNurb" command. This command converts each and every face of the mesh into a Nurbs surface and joins them together. This makes the final solid object complicated and difficult to work with.
Mesh To Solid for Rhino, on the other hand, studies the mesh object and determines the features that define the geometry of the model. It then creates a single trimmed Nurbs surface for a group of mesh faces that collectively define a feature. Finally it joins all the trimmed Nurbs surfaces to form the final solid. The resulting solid contains a far lesser number of faces and is much easier to work with.
Mesh To Solid for Rhino is very easy to use. It adds a new command to Rhino called "MeshToSolid". Simply type "MeshToSolid" at the command prompt and select the mesh you wish to convert into a solid.

FontMap may be used to view and print both installed and external fonts; it can display a variety of tables, individual characters, a keyboard view, font description, or whatever text you wish to enter. Individual characters can be displayed in a "full-screen" view and custom table parameters can be set to "zoom" in on a selected portion of a font. National character sets and unicode characters available for a font may also be displayed.
For an individual font most all of the views that are displayed can be printed - tables, text, keyboard view, font description, and installation or national character set information. Multiple fonts can be printed in either a brief or "verbose" format. If you have a CD (or whatever) with a bunch of fonts on it, you can easily print a sample of all the fonts it contains without needing to install them. Or, you can browse thru the fonts and selectively install the ones you like.
For those of us who like to see characters in a larger format, FontMap can be used in place of CharMap. It may also be used as your default TTF viewer.
