Virtual Serial Port ActiveX Control

Virtual Serial Port is a powerful advanced ActiveX Control that allows your application to create custom additional virtual serial port in system and fully control it. Created virtual serial ports looks like real serial ports for other Windows applications. From your application you can control data sent to virtual serial port by other applications and respond to them by sending own data to virtual serial port, which will be received by other Windows applications like from real port. Features: Flexible set of control functuins, Virtual serial port can have any name, Full software serial port emulation, Control lines support (DTR, RTS), High speed data exchange from/to virtual serial port, Virtual serial port could be created and deleted dynamically during runtime, Sample applications for Borland C++ Builder and Delphi and Microsoft Visual C++ and Visual Basic. Virtual Serial Port ActiveX Control compatible with: Microsoft Visual C++ 5-6, Microsoft Visual Basic 5-6, Borland C++ Builder 3-6, Borland Delphi 3-6

Virtual Serial Port Driver 9x

Virtual Serial Ports Driver (VSPD) is a Windows device driver. Using it you can create two virtual serial COM ports in your system which will be virtually connected to each other. For example, after installing VSPD, you will have Virtual Serial Port COM5 and Virtual Serial Port COM6 added to your system. These ports will behave like real common serial ports to other Windows applications. These ports will not interact with any hardware. The idea is: all data sent by other application to COM5 will arrive at COM6, and all data sent by other applications to COM6 will arrive at COM5. So, the application, that listening COM5 will get all data, sent by other application to COM6 and vice versa.

Serial Splitter

Serial Splitter is an advanced Win32 application, based on Windows NT kernel drivers technology. It allows you to share real serial port between several applications so way, that all application will receive same data from real serial port simultaneously. It is achieved by creating virtual serial ports, which are same copies as real one. Every application will think that it is working with serial port in exclusive mode. One of them will be able also to send data to real serial port. Virtual Serial Ports can have any port number from 1 to 255. With ELTIMA Serial Splitter it is possible to connect two or more applications to one real serial port. For example you can share GPS Receiver between several applications.

Share Serial Ports

Share Serial Ports is an advanced utility, the purpose of which is to share real serial ports between multiple applications in the way, that all applications will receive same data from real serial port simultaneously. Shared Serial Ports can be used for serial port emulation, as it connects real serial ports by creating virtual serial ports, which are same copies as real ones. Each application will think that it is working with serial port in exclusive mode. All virtual serial ports will be able to send data to real serial port. Also, you will be able to set permissions to read, write or change control lines state for every application separately. Sharing a serial port is trully effective and reliable with Shared Serial Ports.

Virtual Serial Port ActiveX Control

Virtual Serial Port ActiveX Control is a powerful tool for professional developers that allows your application to create custom additional virtual serial port in system and fully control it. You can view parameters information of a virtual serial port, set by other application. From your application you can view and control data sent to virtual serial port by other applications and respond to them by sending your own serial data to virtual COM port, which will be received by all Windows applications like from real port. Features: Flexible set of control functions, Virtual serial port can have any name, Full software serial port emulation, Control lines support (DTR, RTS), High speed data exchange from/to virtual serial port, Virtual serial port could be created and deleted dynamically during runtime, Sample applications for Borland C++ Builder and Delphi and Microsoft Visual C++ and Visual Basic. Virtual Serial Port Driver XP4

Virtual Serial Port Driver XP4 creates two pure virtual serial ports in your system which are virtually connected to each other. For other Windows applications, virtual ports will be seen exactly as two real serial ports connected via null-modem cable. You can select any port numbers for virtual pair. For example, you can create virtual pair COM5-COM6. In this case all data sent by other applications to COM5 will arrive at COM6, and all data sent to COM6 will arrive at COM5. This can be seen if you run two HyperTerminals (or any other Windows terminal programs) and connect one of them to COM5 and other one to COM6. Then, all you type in first terminal will appear at second one. Of course, you can transfer files, other data or do whatever you want as it was real serial ports. With Virtual Serial Port Driver XP 4.0 you can connect one application to another using virtual serial ports pair. Applications will be able to exchange data. This solution can be used, for example, for GPS simulation programs.

Virtual Serial Port Driver XP4.5

Virtual Serial Ports Driver XP creates two pure virtual serial ports in your system which are virtually connected to each other. For other Windows applications, virtual ports will be seen exactly as two real serial ports connected via null-modem cable. With virtual ports created by Virtual Serial Port Driver XP you can connect applications to each other and exchange data between them without occupying your real serial ports and using hardware wiring. Virtual link between virtual serial ports is much faster then real null-modem cable connection and depends on your processor speed. The latest version with new manual and examples now supports full baudrate emulation. With user-friendly GUI and on-the-fly help of Virtual Serial Port Driver XP it's very easy to configure a virtual serial ports pair.
