The HAM Intelligent Calculator, or HAMIC, is a program designed to simplify a number of calculations commonly used by HAMs. It is designed for the HAM radio hobbyist, but may be useful to others as well. HAMIC has a simple to use, but powerful graphical interface that allows solving simple circuits such as resistors in series or parallel, or more complex circuits such as L networks or T networks. As well, other calculations such as SWR and reactance conversions are supported. One of the more powerful features of HAMIC is to solve for almost any unknown variable in a circuit; HAMIC can even solve L networks without having to use Smith charts. The CRC is a "digital fingerprint" of a file, With CRC32 you can "melt down" a huge 20 MB (or even much bigger) file to have a small, handy reference to it, a single 32-bit number like 7d9c42fb (hexadecimal notation) which would unambiguously reflect the entire contents of this huge file. Now if some changes to this file happened, no matter how small, maybe only a single wrong bit somewhere in the middle, a new CRC-32 calculation would yield a completely different reference number (say 3faa83bd). So there?d be no doubt about it - this is not the same file anymore. On the other hand if the reference number was still the same (7d9c42fb) you might be sure that the file hasn?t changed.
The algorithm of CRC32 is exactly the same as that internally used by PKZIP and WinZip; i.e. the CRCs calculated by PKZIP and CRC32 are identical. That?s another fine thing about CRC32 - it calculates compatible, widely used 32-bit checksums, not just any numbers. You can use the 'pkunzip.exe -vt filename.zip' command to see that PKZIP?s CRC-32 values of files stored inside the filename.zip are identical to that calculated by CRC32 for these files.
Though you can use CRC32 to calculate 32-bit checksums of any file the real strength and usefulness of CRC32 is in comparing Wave Sound Files to see if their non-silent music parts are identical. In particular CRC32 may come in handy when comparing two different extractions of a CD Digital Audio track to ensure that the performed digital copy is perfect.

Many IT-sysadms will answer, that this problem is solved with W2k-ADS-policy, but it can't.
More and more programs upgrades themselves while users are logged in, demanding that users must be member of the Local Admin Group. Members of this group can install programs. Installing W2k on a workstation, the IT-sysadm normally decides that no Domain Users can be member of the Local Admin Group.
But are workstations used by more than one user? Are there users using other than their own workstation? If the IT-sysadm have given this problem deep reflection, maybe he/she have prepared some Global Domain Groups with the same names ready on every workstation, being member of the Local Admin Group. If it's necessary, the IT-sysadm can then temporarily add the Domain User to this Global Domain Group, and the user can install programs until he/she removes the Domain User again after maybe 2 days? But while the user is member of this Global Domain Group, the Domain User at once gains UNLIMITED admin power on every workstation on the network. While the Domain User is a member of the Local Admin Group, he/she can make a new Local User on every workstation on the network, and grant this Local User membership of the Local Admin Group on every workstation. And the Domain User can do it from his/hers own workstation without anyone seeing anything about it.
Then it dosn't matter that the IT-sysadm removes the Domain User from the Global Domain Group after 2 hours.

A series of booklets are combined to build a book. BookPrintMe operates as a printer driver that may be used by any application. Several print jobs may be accumulated for printing of booklets. E.g. you may print a booklet that contains several topics of a help file. This is done by executing the print funktion of the help system for each topic. In general BookPrintMe is suitable to print program manuals (readme.txt), help files, cook books, address books, program source listings, elektronic publications etc. BookPrint uses the EMF-file format for spooling the print jobs and requires the support of this format by the application, which is the case for most applications, e.g. Acobat Reader Version 4.0 is supported by BookPrintMe.
