The Universal Product Code has been used in the North American retail industry since 1973. There are two different versions of UPC bar codes, UPC-A and UPC-E. The UPC-A bar code is 12 digits long, including its checksum. UPC-E bar codes are special shortened versions of UPC-A bar codes and are 6 digits long. Both UPC-A and UPC-E bar codes may have optional 2 or 5 digit supplemental codes appended to them.
Our scalable TrueType bar code fonts comes in five different aspect ratios, so you can vary the height and width of the bars independent of each other. This lets you print bar codes with the same height, but different horizontal print densities. The online manual comes in Rich Text format. Just print a copy of the manual to see how to use these soft fonts to print bar codes.
UPC bar codes encode fixed length numeric data. A checksum is required, and checksum calculation is complex. VBA functions for Access and Excel make using our fonts in those programs a breeze. Our bar code set includes BARUPC.EXE a utility, which builds bar code strings and generates checksums for you and Word label templates.

FontMap may be used to view and print both installed and external fonts; it can display a variety of tables, individual characters, a keyboard view, font description, or whatever text you wish to enter. Individual characters can be displayed in a "full-screen" view and custom table parameters can be set to "zoom" in on a selected portion of a font. National character sets and unicode characters available for a font may also be displayed.
For an individual font most all of the views that are displayed can be printed - tables, text, keyboard view, font description, and installation or national character set information. Multiple fonts can be printed in either a brief or "verbose" format. If you have a CD (or whatever) with a bunch of fonts on it, you can easily print a sample of all the fonts it contains without needing to install them. Or, you can browse thru the fonts and selectively install the ones you like.
For those of us who like to see characters in a larger format, FontMap can be used in place of CharMap. It may also be used as your default TTF viewer.
Note that printing, as well as the display of unicode and National character sets, is only available to registered users.

This program may be used to look at most any file; text, hex, character, and "interpret" views are available. Text marking can be done in character, line, and block modes; searching may be done in either text or hex modes.
Text mode provides a conventional view of text files; lines may be wrapped or not. Look_At is useful for copying selected information from a file; text search and selection is convenient and the file won't be accidentally modified.
Hex and Character display modes are provided so that any file can be viewed: text or non-text.
An "Interpret" mode is available for CUR, DLL, DRV, EXE, ICO, and TTF files. This mode expands the structure of the file and allows individual sections to be displayed.
For registered users printing in the various display formats is available as well as the export of information from a file; icons, cursors and bitmaps may be extracted from EXE and DLL files. For unregistered users the maximum file size is limited to 200KB.

FontShow is a small program useful for viewing and printing the TrueType fonts installed on your system. Options are included to display user-specified sample text in place of the normal font name and alphanumeric character set. The size and face of the currently selected font can be quickly changed and the result displayed automatically. A printed copy of the font can also be produced. The selected font's metrics can be viewed in a small font properties window by simply double-clicking on the font name in the pick list. Windows stock font objects can also be displayed with this utility, making it handy for programmers and developers. FontShow can also be configured to optionally place its program icon in the Taskbar notification tray.
