NetSpeeder

NetSpeeder is a professional accelerator. It can fundamentally optimize your internet connection speed by up 300% and support all types of connections from dialup to DSL, Cable, and Wireless. It will correctly optimize Windows of all versions, including Windows XP, Windows Server 2003. Once chosen, Tweak Wizard will automatically regulate settings of various parameters.. If you know perfectly well up in the TCP/IP parameters, you can use Fine Tune function. After the optimization of the network, downloading speed will be several times faster. DNS Accelerator will automatically update hostname and IP Address in the light of favorite and history of Internet Explorer to improve the speed of access to website frequently visited. URL Simplification will greatly simplify your input(like internet real name), for example: you input "hunter" in address bar of Internet Explorer, it will navigate to "http://www.netopti.com" automatically. You can examine TCP information of the local computer, ping a group of IP address and watch connection state of TCP/UDP port.

Network Eagle Monitor

Network Eagle is a network monitoring software. Create categorized task lists on a "set and forget" basis. Network Eagle can ping server, monitor TCP port, check HTTP URL (with HTTP auth), test FTP link, check disk space usage, execute external command check, check databases via ODBC, monitor MS SQL server via native interface, and more. Write your own check scripts using JS and VBS or any other script provider like ActivePerl or Active Python installed on your system. Network Eagle performs checks at regular intervals and activates predefined alerts on a given condition. It can be a sound alert, an e-mail notification (icq, pager or mobile via mail gate), execution of an external program or a user-written Java or VB script. There is a set of ready-made scripts for file existence check, file or folder size check, NT service state check and alert actions such as: reboot remote machine, restart NT service, write to NT event log and cleanup event log file. The software can also export data to XML and HTML files, and tabulate uptime/failure check statistics. A variety of useful wizards is available.

fax@NET Server

One modem or ISDN card is enough and fax@NET Server receives and sends your faxes. Those are saved as pictures and you can send them e.g. to your outlook. So your net becomes a Unified Messaging Network. You can send your faxes via the WebClient, the fax@NET Plus Printer or programmatically via a TCP socket communication. Socket communication means that you can send faxes from any location in the world only over this interface. Many filetypes are supported. Sending a fax via the webclient is only possible with certain file types, but sending via the printer driver works with each application. You easily can send faxes directly from your website. With fax@NET Server you can send faxes from everywhere in the world, you just need having the printerdriver installed on your machine and a server anywhere else. Also using fax@NET Server in your company is easy. The client machines only need the printer driver. The only thing they have to enter is the faxnumber and once their email adresses for a confirmation email. The mails are delivered to your working place and can be viewed e.g. with the Internet Explorer or any other image processing programmes. You can choose a file format between jpg (that can be viewed on almost every machine) or the sff format (you need a special sff viewer for taking a look on it). The advantage of the sff file is that it is one file and is not splitted in two or more pictures. Also the size of your pictures is electable. In the light of the numbers (MSNs) for direct dialing faxes are delivered to different receivers. In addition you also can establish a redirection for known senders of course. So e.g. the "purchasing section" gets faxes from suppliers indifferently where they have been sent to. A detailed log file makes it easy for administrators to find and solve a problem if something does not work properly. All configuration is saved in one xml-file so updating the software is also easy because you only need to replace the exe-file.

Fping

Ping is one of the most useful network debugging tools available. The first ping program was written by Mike Muuss in December 1983 for use on Unix machines. Muuss named his program after the sonar sounds used for echolocation by submarines, although some say ping stands for "Packet InterNet Grouper". Ping sends a small packet of information containing an ICMP ECHO_REQUEST to a specified computer, which then sends an ECHO_REPLY packet in return. The ping program then evaluates this reply, and a report is shown. You can check several things with the ping program: can you reach another computer, how long does it take to bounce a packet off of another site (what is the distance), ... You can ping either a domain name, or an IP address. Functionality to show domain names when using IP addresses is supported. Even routing options are available, alas only 9 routes can be shown due to the structure of the IP header (RFC 792). Why did I write my own ping program? There are two main reasons: a) It wanted to know how the ping program worked. I found it really intriguing and was very curious and b) There was a need for a better ping program here at the lab where I work.

X-NetStat

X-NetStat is a program that displays information on your current Internet and network connections, much like the console netstat.exe program, but in a graphical interface. These connections are established each time you visit a web page, send an ICQ message, check your email, or anytime you do network activity that requires you to connect to another computer. They also appear when outside computers attempt to connect to your machine, authorized or not. Each connection is displayed in the Connection Table, where you can see the address you are connected to, what ports (local and remote) are being used, the connection status, and how long the connection has been active, and the process EXE * behind each connection.

SoftPerfect Network Protocol Analyzer

SoftPerfect Network Protocol Analyzer is an advanced, professional tool for analyzing, debugging, maintaining and monitoring local networks and Internet connections. It captures the data passing through your dial-up connection or network Ethernet card, analyzes this data and then represents it in an easily readable form. SoftPerfect Network Protocol Analyzer is a useful tool for network administrators, security specialists, network application developers and anyone who needs a comprehensive picture of the traffic passing through their network connection or segment of a local area network. SoftPerfect Network Protocol Analyzer presents the results of its network analysis in a convenient and easily understandable format. It also allows you to defragment and reassemble network packets into streams. The program can easily analyze network traffic based on a number of different Internet protocols as listed below. SoftPerfect Network Protocol Analyzer features full decoding of the following low level protocols: AH, ARP, ESP, ICMP, ICMPv6, IP, IPv6, IPX, LLC, MSG, REVARP, RIP, SAP, SER, SNAP, SPX, TCP and UDP. It also performs full reconstruction of top-level protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, FTP, TELNET and others. The flexible system of fully configurable filters can be used to discard all network traffic except the specific traffic patterns you wish to analyze. SoftPerfect Network Protocol Analyzer also has a special packet builder. This tool allows you to build your own custom network packets and send them into the network. You could use this packet builder feature to check your network for robustness against attacks and intruders. The software requires Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP. It also requires a network connection that could be a wireless connection or a modem that conforms to the NDIS standard.
