The board is randomly generated in each round so each game is different every time. Shih Tao is the Windows software adaptation of an old Asian board game. It's all about placing stones on the board following the rules of Shih Tao. Each stones has two characteristics, a symbol and a color. In the beginning we place six stones for you and hide the remaining stones in the pouch. Now it is your turn to fill the board according to the rules of Shih Tao.
You can play alone against the high score. Or better challenge your family and friends by let them try to do better on your saved game. Play just for fun or go for the expert mode, it's totally up to you how hard Shih Tao is.
Shih Tao comes with three different board sizes plus three different difficulty levels of rules. Does not sound much? Go for it and we talk further. To make it not too hard Shih Tao comes with optional helpers, like showing possible moves, showing the next stones, showing the pouch, shuffling the pouch, and unlimited undo and redo.

Match neighboring tiles in this ancient chinese board game. Fill up the board as much as possible with stones, each of which can be placed only adjacent to a stone that shares either its color or its name. Like all great board games, Mariko´s concept is deceptively simple, but offers a deeply complex and challenging experience. You are given a set of 72 tiles, each marked with a specific color and figure. The stones are presented one at a time, and you place them on a board with 96 slots, next to other matching pieces. The more stones that your stone touches, the more points you earn for that stone. The basic idea of matching tiles is enhanced with restrictions on the types of matches possible. Tiles are matched by color and figure, with the elusive four-way match being the best play (match two by color and another two by figure). The game is won by making the highest score possible, but you will quickly find other goals to achieve, such as using all the tiles or scoring four-way matches around the starting board. Mariko is proof that a game does not need many rules to be sophisticated. The concept is simple, yet each new move offers a wealth of possibilities to be explored, making this a perfect entry for the deep-thinking strategist.

The rune stones are based on the twenty four symbols of Futhark, the ancient Norse alphabet which was later used by the Anglo Saxons. In rune casting - in addition to these symbols, a blank stone is used, making a total of twenty five rune stones which have different traditional meanings when cast in different positions, and again if they are placed upside down. When using the runes, it is important to first decide what you want to consult the runes about. Cast the runes and study the results. Don't rush! ... remember the three Cs:- Contemplate, Cast and Consider. The software can only suggest interpretations. The final interpretation is down to you and you should take your time over it. If you have a printer, you can print out the results to study later.

3D-LomTris is Tetris (tm)! But it is 3D ... The game is not easy! But after a while of playing (and learning the control and types of stones with their rotations) it's getting more and more fun ...
On the screen you can see the play'field', the next stone, your points, 'killed' planes and the actual level. Your actual gamestone (moved with the cursorkeys) is drawn not filled, other stones are drawn filled and more darkened the deeper they are lying. You have to keep the playfield clean - the game is over when the screen is filled. You can kill stones by completely filling a (deep-)plane. It will be removed then.
A network-game with many players against each other is possible, too! (Press F2).
You can play two levels (limited number of stones) in the shareware version. The network-game is limited as well.

This game is a one- or two-player Tetris (tm) in SVGA.
In the menu you can choose the type of the game and the number of players. There are two types of gameplay: normal Tetris or BLOB. In the BLOB-game all stones are falling directly to the ground as deep as they can. Stones do only disappear if you 'connect' a certain number of stones from the same color. In both games you have to survive as long as you can and collect enough points for a new highscore.
Press F1/F2 in the game to change control-modes. To pause the game press P. If you wish to reset the highscore-table, please delete the file HISCORE.DAT.
You can play three levels (limited number of stones) in the shareware version.
