Spare Parts Management is software designed for the management of spare parts, typically in a manufacturing or production enterprise. It includes requisition, purchasing and inventory functions and a host of enquiries, reports and tools for specific control of spare parts. An accounting interface allows all transactions with financial impact to be integrated to external accounting systems or for development of simple accounting journals. It is a fully developed multi-user application for use with MS Access 2000 or XP providing standard features of multiple data sources, security, data import/export, web publishing, data archiving, etc. It includes manuals, tutorials, help systems, implementation and parameter wizards, glossaries, etc, all to make the application easy to self-implement. Data can be easily linked or copied to external MS access databases for user development of reports, queries and extended functionality. The user interface provides easy navigation to all functions and can be user-configured to display alternate language or terminology in forms, reports and menus. The application includes useful tools such as a full inventory counting cycle and a function for automatic creation of codes for spare parts in a hierarchical structure of families.
