AnyBook Professional Advanced is the top of the line of a series of three programs which make up the award winning AnyBook family of shareware for small and self-publishers.
Its foundation rests on AnyBook's Basic and Professional Standard editions. Like its two siblings, it generates invoices and billing statements, keeps track of inventory, handles book returns, produces sales reports, records customer payments, tracks consignment items, and creates customer mailing lists. It has an integrated customer contact manager, email and browser capabilities, a weight calculator for orders, bank deposit reporting, back order processing, and an export feature for exporting invoice, sales and credit card data. The royalty accounting feature is an entire software program in itself, fully integrated so it works seamlessly with AnyBook and AnyBook's data files. This portion of the program provides a wide range of options. Over 235 different royalty combinations are available for nearly any royalty arrangement. It also includes the ability to create royalty statements which combine an author's advances, payments, subsidiary sales and other royalty activity into one account. But the Professional Edition also provides greater functionality and versatility than the Basic version. It has larger field sizes for customer names and addresses. It includes a Customer Contact Manager which can be used to write notes and keep track of customer names--or the names of individuals and departments within a corporate business--along with phone numbers, email addresses, etc. It will automatically start your email program or Internet browser should you need to write a customer a note or visit their website.
The Professional Standard version includes additional fields on the Main Invoice Screen including the customer's phone number and an invoice code which can be used to provide a more refined breakdown of sales data. It will produce bank deposit reports, and has a back order processor and a weight calculator which will figure the total weight of an order. It will keep track of shipping expenses including those which are charged and those which are not charged to the customer. It also has an export feature which allows you to export invoice and sales data to other programs. The Professional Level II Edition includes all of the invoicing features found in the Level I program. Those features include the ability to generate invoices, handle book returns, produce sales reports, record customer payments, and create customer mailing lists. It can apply discounts to products individually or altogether. Included among its features are polished and refined pop-ups to find and paste customers or products. You can copy a customer name and address from an email message and paste the whole works to an invoice. You can also add personal notes to an invoice. The program includes AnyBook's innovative system of marking invoices paid which makes it easy to readily locate unpaid invoices. And it will produce sales and sales tax reports. In addition to Level I features, the Level II program includes the following major additions: * Billing Engine. The program includes a comprehensive billing engine which creates billing statements for each of your customers, listing all invoice activity & identifying unpaid invoices. * Inventory Engine. The program will track inventory and provide data on how many books remain at any given time. * Advanced Search. Advanced search broadens your ability to locate invoices and customers. It enables you to search the contents of any field on the Main Invoice Screen. * Back Order Processing. The Level II program has the ability to find back-ordered products and create new invoices when items are back in stock and ready to ship. * Invoice Graphics. If desired, you can add logos or other graphics to printed invoices and statements. * Deposit and Payment Reports.
