SecEx Secure Shell Client

SecEx is a network file manager and secure terminal emulator that allows encrypted file transfer between your PC and network servers running Secure Shell. SecEx seamlessly interoperates with either SSH1 or SSH2 servers on both Unix and Windows operating systems. You can transfer files to and from remote servers, view remote files, and execute remote files on your local PC - using strong, industry standard encryption. If you are a travelling executive who wants to access files on a corporate server or a system administrator maintaining a remote site, SecEx is your complete remote file management solution. SecEx automatically detects available carrier protocols available on server systems. Newer SSH servers tend to make SFTP (Secure FTP) available while older secure shell implementations feature SCP ( Secure Copy Program). SecEx also shields against IP and DNS spoofing by recording a server's public host key. During subsequent connection attempts, the known host key is compared to the host key offered by the server.

Internet Secure Tunneling

Internet Secure Tunneling can forward otherwise insecure TCP traffic through encrypted SSH Secure Shell tunnel. You can secure for example DATABASE, POP3, SMTP and HTTP connections that would otherwise be insecure. The tunneling capability of SSH Secure Shell is a feature that allows, for example, company employees to access their email, company intraweb pages and shared files securely by even when working from home or on the road. Tunneling makes it possible to access email from any type of Internet service (whether accessed via modem, a DSL line or a cable connection, or a hotel Internet service). As long as the user has an IP connection to the Internet she can get her mail and access other resources from anywhere in the world securely. This often is not the case with more traditional IPSec based VPN technologies because of issues with traversing networks that are implementing Network Address Translation (NAT) - this is especially the case in hotels. NAT breaks an IPSec connection unless special protocols such as NAT-Traversal are implemented on the client and gateway. The client-server applications using the tunnel will carry out their own authentication procedures, if any, the same way they would without the encrypted tunnel. The protocol/application might only be able to connect to a fixed port number ( e.g. IMAP 143). Otherwise any available port can be chosen for port forwarding. Features - Create and manage mulitiple SSH tunnels. - SSH Version 1 and Version 2 are supported. - Comperssion is supported. - Hides in the system tray and does not require any desktop space. - System tray pop up menu for easy access to main functions. - Online support, online upgrade and online install language packages. - Windows XP compatible user interface.

UnixSpace Terminal

UnixSpace terminal - it's a realization of a graphical telnet/SSH client for Windows. Protocols: telnet, SSH1, SSH2 and rlogin. The program consist of two parts: UnixSpace terminal and SSH Proxy Server. The SSH proxy can be used independently. The terminal is capable of emulating Linux and FreeBSD console, VT220, ANSI, and its own UnixSpace terminal. In the last instance the terminal has 256 colors, 4 fonts with 4 modes (bold | italic) , and is able to display various graphical objects (lines, rectangles, curves, etc) as well as display gif and jpeg images. Besides terminal allows execution of Word, Excel, HTML, and other types of documents located on the Unix server. UnixSpace terminal has 4 virtual consoles, each with individual configuration. In other words you could open 4 different telnet sessions and be able to switch between them using Alt-F1/Alt-F4, or with the mouse. It's practically a new type of a terminal device.

SecureCRT

SecureCRT is a Windows terminal emulator that supports Secure Shell (SSH), Telnet, rlogin, serial, and TAPI protocols. SSH provides encrypted login, terminal sessions, and data transfer. SecureCRT is highly customizable and easy to use. SecureCRT supports both SSH1 and SSH2 protocols. SSH2 support provides AES, 3DES, RC4, Blowfish, and Twofish ciphers, with password authentication, public-key authentication, and Kerberos v5 authentication via GSSAPI. Port forwarding allows redirecting TCP/IP applications over an encrypted channel. SecureCRT is ideal for connecting to remote systems running UNIX and VMS as well as the many BBSs and databases that are now available via the Internet. Remote sites can be easily accessed by just entering a hostname. Variable compression allows users with dialup connections to maximize performance. SSH2 server support includes the latest SSH2 servers from SSH Communications and OpenSSH. For easy multiple connections, SecureCRT can remember passphrases as long as the application is open. SecureCRT delivers quality emulations for VT100, VT102, VT220, ANSI, SCO ANSI, basic Wyse 50/60, Xterm and Linux console, with ANSI color support. Customization options include keymaps and login scripts, with many other choices including fonts, cursors, and color. Multi-byte character sets are supported for Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, as well as improved support for scalable line drawing fonts. Other features include the Activator utility for managing sessions from the system tray instead of the taskbar, session folders to manage hundreds of sessions, ActiveX scripting support for VBScript and other scripting languages, and secure file transfer using either the VCP command-line application or Zmodem. X11 forwarding enables encrypting X Windows sessions. SSH2 connections can be made from the command line using the included VSH program. Named sessions, auto logon, printing, emacs mode, and SOCKS firewall support are also popular features.
