AuctionNavigator

The AuctionNavigator is Bidding, Sniping and Tracking program for eBay auction that helps win by bidding during the last seconds. Sniping is the art of placing last second bids on eBay. Sniping is the key to winning auctions! The objective of sniping is to reduce the number of times the bid is incremented by making your bid so close to the end of the auction, other bidders don't get the opportunity to counter your bid. AuctionNavigator helps you monitor prices, create reports, automatically connect to the Internet, synchronize time, save items to different folders. Now you do not have to sit in front of the monitor waiting for the auction end and nervously refresh the contents of the browser. AuctionNavigator can connect to the Internet on its own and purchase an item even if you are not around. Moreover, it will do it much faster than you would do it manually. AuctionNavigator is not a "black box" since everything taking place in the program including how the auction is going on can be seen in a very detailed log. Before buying anything, the program creates the bid and dial-up plans and sticks closely to those plans. AuctionNavigator has some unique features and intellectual algorithms that literally fight for every item and do not stop fighting until the auction is over. AuctionNavigator does not just make "one shot", but depending on the auction state it can try to increase the price or outbid another buyer's bid. The program has also the "auction guard" feature ensuring that nobody outbids your price and guarding your item until the auction is over. AuctionNavigator is well integrated with Internet Explorer, thanks to it you can add items to the auction list without exiting Internet Explorer. If you want to buy just one item out of several ones at the best price, the program has a feature for specifying limits of purchases. AuctionNavigator has a built-in automated system for updating the software via the Internet.

OnlyDirCopy

Copy a directory structure only. No files. Easy directory copy program to copy folder trees, without the files contained in that folders. You have option to copy several trees at once, combining them in projects. Projects are saved and can also optionally be re-run to make a synchronizing update. Extended reporting and log-file possibilities. How it works - short 1) In a first stage you simply select what items (= directories) have to be copied and what destination root you will use. In most cases there will be only one directory tree to be copied but you can select also more than one! These are combined into one PROJECT-file (.ond-file). 2) In the second stage (=copy), you choose to run the project-file and following happens: A) cleaning (except if project is run for first time): it checks every folder on the destination which were eventually cleaned on the source and these are now also deleted in the destination. B) updating: all new folders from the source are copied to the destination using the same directory structure as in the source. In this way, during the first run of a project to a disk you will create an identical copy of the source and during other runs to that same disk you update or synchronize that identical copy! If you have a lot of folders you can also make several projects. As all the project-files are saved you can quickly select them later on again to update the copy, leaving away the first stage. It is also possible to edit projects later on (eg you want to add a directory).

Assign Daily Calls to Doctors for One Year with Excel

The Doctors Call Scheduler Excel spreadsheet schedules doctor's daily calls for a full year. It was developed with the assistance of a doctor responsible for scheduling 30 doctors to 5 calls per day for an anesthesiology clinic. You simply specify the doctor's names and the number of doctors that need to be on call each day of the week. You then proceed to assign first call, second call, etc. until sufficient calls have been assigned each day of the year. The program displays statistics regarding the number of each type call that has been assigned to each doctor so you know at a glance who is due for a specific call assignment. The program allows you to keep track of doctors with special qualifications and alerts you if you have not scheduled one of the "special" doctors to be on call each day. The spreadsheet produces individual schedules and monthly calendars and comes in sizes for 5 calls & 30 doctors and 10 calls & 60 doctors. Microsoft Excel or compatible spreadsheet program is required. During the free trial period restrictions apply with respect to schedule start dates and the number of schedules displayed. Spreadsheets for other scheduling applications are available at the website.

Find Shortcuts

The window that appear as Find Shortcuts starts is similar to the Find Files window that comes with Windows 98. Most of the elements (menus, buttons, etc.) should be familiar. Shortcuts always have a "target" which will be invoked. Depending on the target, the shortcut may open a folder, run a program, open a document, play a music file, open a web page, and so forth. When "Test" is selected (from the Edit menu, clicking the Test button, or by pressing F7), Find Shortcuts checks the target of each shortcut to see if it is valid. Since shortcuts can have a variety of targets, testing can involve various actions, but in most cases Find Shortcuts simply checks to see if the target exists on your system. During testing, a progress bar appears in the second portion of the status bar. If any shortcuts fail the test, that part of the status bar will indicate how many failed. Shortcuts that pass the test will display a green check mark beside the filename. Those that fail will have a red "X" and the entire line for that shortcut will be red a If the Named box is left empty, Find Shortcuts will search for all shortcuts. Otherwise, only shortcut filenames matching the search string will be found. Wildcards (* and ?) can be used, but are often not necessary. For example, entering "ms" in the Named box will locate all shortcuts which contain "ms" (or "MS") anywhere in their filename. The Named box also includes a drop down list of previous search strings. The Types box can limit the search to only certain types of shortcuts. This can be useful if you are searching through large numbers of shortcuts (e.g., the entire Start Menu). Once you click Find Now (or press Enter) you will see search results (if any shortcuts matching the search criteria are found). Once you see files you can test the shortcuts.

m3uEdit1

m3uEdit is a VERY simple m3u playlist creator/editor. You can drag-n-drop ANY type of files from Windows Explorer and they will be added to the end of the playlist. It accepts any filetype so that playlists for any media type can be made. For instance, Windows Media Player can play various videos, WMA, and MP3 files from a single m3u playlist. You can drag the filenames around to get them in the order you want. You can delete items from the list. You can even edit an item by clicking it a second time (not sure why you'd want to). Then save the file. That's it. Only one option: Include (or not) m3uEdit in the context menus of m3u files. This means you can right-click any m3u file and pick m3uEdit to start editing that file.

ClicheCleaner

ClicheCleaner helps you write better, by highlighting passages in your text that are either cliches, other overly-used common expressions, or phrases of your own that you have repeatedly used within the same document. ClicheCleaner includes a list of nearly 7000 unique cliches and common expressions that are compared against your text.Everyone has a unique writing style and their own way of expressing themselves. But however clever or original a phrase may be, if a writer uses the same witty saying -- or even a part of it -- again in the same document, the reader experiences literary deja vu and the original impact is greatly diminished. That is where the second half of ClicheCleaner's capability comes into play. It examines your entire document, and looks for all repeated phrases of three or more words.

Burn to the Brim

Utility for determining how to ideally fit files and folders on a CD or other medium. In almost all cases it will find near- and perfect solutions within seconds. It will optionally move each found group to a seperate directory ready for copying or burning. The program is optimized for quick performance and considers the most promising options first. It also minimizes the search length by fast detection of dead ends. The program cuts corners whenever possible (without missing anything). Folders can be split up to a set level for more versatile splitting options. The first priority of the program is to fill the media as well as possible, second is to minimize the number of items (so the larger, harder to fit items have preference and more items to choose from are left for the next burn). Users can define their own custom disk formats so they can also use the program to fill other media like Zip disks and the like.

Sense and Sensibility

Sense And Sensibility by Jane Austen. When Mr. Dashwood dies, he must leave the bulk of his estate to the son by his first marriage, which leaves his second wife and three daughters (Elinor, Marianne, and Margaret) in straitened circumstances. They are taken in by a kindly cousin, but their lack of fortune affects the marriageability of both practical Elinor and romantic Marianne. When Elinor forms an attachment for the wealthy Edward Ferrars, his family disapproves and separates them. And though Mrs. Jennings tries to match the worthy (and rich) Colonel Brandon to her, Marianne finds the dashing and fiery Willoughby more to her taste. Both relationships are sorely tried. But this is a romance, and through the hardships and heartbreak, true love and a happy ending will find their way for both the sister who is all sense and the one who is all sensibility.
