A comprehensive TCP/IP LPD Print Server for all Windows platforms. RPM expands printing capabilities by giving users more control, formatting options, and file management advantages over traditional network server printing. RPM allows users to customize and control processing of print jobs received on a TCP/IP network from hosts such as mainframes, AS/400s, UNIX and Linux, and other Windows platforms.
RPM fully supports SCS formatting instructions. RPM has easy Print to File (write to disk) options. RPM offers many TCP/IP Printing features not normally found with Host over IP printing situations.
Features include: SCS to ASCII translation and EBCDIC to ASCII translation, Remove PCL codes and convert LF to CRLF, ASA carriage control and code page support, the ability to insert and append bytes, Character translations and extensive form printing controls.
Easy configuration for fitting text output to any size paper. Support all fonts the printer can use. A variety of host data formats enable end-users to print without host system modifications.
Supports three queue types: text, raw, and filter. Unlimited print queue definitions accommodate routine and special printing needs.
Automatically create a print queue when a job is received, reducing network administration time by eliminating the need to search for misnamed queues.
Extensive logging in RPM provides each message in an easy to read format. Each log message shows a unique RPM event number, the time, the source of the message, the application that generated the message, and the message text.
Easily translate and convert text from different formats. Translate EBCDIC data, ASA carriage control codes, or convert SCS to ASCII for all queue types. In text mode, SCS formatting is preserved, including font changes and character positioning.
Provides Multiple-Byte Character Sets (MBCS) for use in international languages such as Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

Octotools is multi-function software that does GUI based forms design with automated e-distribution,
PCL/PostScript printer output, PDF conversion, and email in an integrated low-cost package
Along with legacy output support, OctoTools(tm) is aimed specifically at automating:
forms design, electronic distribution, report bursting (drill down), legacy enhancement,
and output document management.
Coupling a front-end Graphical Users Interface (GUI) with an easy-to-use forms designer,
as well as a powerful PDF and print runtime engine, this new software will allow users
to complete the following functions:
* Eliminate pre-printed and multi-part forms
* Automate batch processing and distribution of forms and reports
* Reduce printing costs, paper supplies, and associated overhead
* Make data universally available electronically through Adobe-supported PDF files
* Use a single template for both printing and PDF conversion to ensure an exact match
* Seamlessly integrate emailing, Web posting, and archiving with report data
* Addition of barcodes
Windows print drivers are used to print to any PostScript(tm), PCL printers, low cost
digital copiers and production-class printers including Xerox Docutech(tm) and
Docuprint(tm).
Any data field or position within a text report can be
interactively defined as variables for automatic report bursting, Web access,
file/directory path names, email addressing, and command line switch settings.
OctoTools can receive, report, and text output from simultaneous remote sources by
utilizing RPM Remote Print Manager(r) from Brooks Internet Software. OctoTools with RPM
provides a universal gateway to receive input from just about any computer platform or
environment. The Windows centric architecture eliminates the requirement for intrusive
and expensive software on host systems and offloads compute-intensive processing.

cvschangelogbuilder is an Perl utility to generate ChangeLogs for a project hosted on a CVS server. The main goal is to provide a better output that the 'cvs log' command, to permit to choose the sorting criteria, to add the status of the change (added, removed, modified) and to allow "differential" changelogs, between 2 versions, even when they are not in the main branch. The output are also friendly to read and records are grouped by the output criteria (by date, by file, by log).
So you can, for example, know which files were modified between two old versions to prepare a light diff package for an old customer, you can see what was done on current development version, sorted by date, to know what happened during your 5 days holidays, you can build a changelog ready to be included in your rpm %changelog section with correct format, see how many commits were done on a particular file with no need scan the 'cvs rlog' output, etc...
cvschangelogbuilder is also an easy to use command line interface (perl tool).
cvschangelogbuilder offer 4 kinds of output:
listdeltaforrpm To build a changelog to include in a rpm .spec file.
listdeltabydate To build a changelog by date (looks near 'cvs log').
listdeltabyfile To build a changelog by file.
listdeltabylog To build a changelog by change comment.

Give your Vinyl Records a rest. RIP vinyl allows you to record from any audio source on your PC, and produce WAVor MP3 files, which can then be burned onto a CD-R for your own personal use while away from home. Compression is done via Microsoft's Audio Compression Manager (MSACM) and can use any ACM codec that is licensed for encoding.
The software automatically detects tracks, and you can configure the track detection parameters. In addition, it automatically discards tracks shorter than a threshold. A new mode allows recording 78 RPM records at 45 RPM with a simple click of a button.
The software now supports a peak VU meter, and the main UI and installation has been translated into Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Swedish. It also supports recording 78 RPM records at 45 RPM.
