General information
wodDHCPServer is a DHCP server component (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), available as COM object and ActiveX control. It provides a framework for passing configuration information to hosts on TCP/IP network. wodDHCPServer implements protocol specific infrastructure, allowing you to allocate IP addresses from your address pool, and provide it to requesting clients by your rules. It is configurable by set of objects and events where you can add your code to control component's behavior.
How does it work?
As described in RFC2131, when clients connect to the network for the first time, they will Announce themselves to the network, waiting for all DHCP servers on the network to send their Offers for possible IP addresses (and other network parameters). Once they receive this information, clients can choose among received offers, and Request the IP address from your server. At any point, based on your decisions, you can Accept client's requests, or just Deny them. At all times, you should keep a database of your address pool, allocations and released done by your server.
Each request received from the client gets unique Session object, where session specific data is stored. You will find here client's MAC address (usually your choices will be based on this information), and setup network parameters directly by populating this object information (Hostname, Gateway...).
Availability
wodDHCPServer can be used from any programming language that supports COM or ActiveX controls. You will find provided samples in VB and VC, but you could also use it in .NET framework, and other languages such as FoxPro.

General information
WeOnlyDo Software's wodHttpDLX is a HTTP client ActiveX control that provides easy, both high and low level access to the complete HTTP protocol. It's primary purpose is to retrieve documents and other resources from the WEB. It was designed to be as programmer-friendly as possible. You will find it can be fully automated to get you requested resource, but also can be used by advanced programmers under complete control from your code.
Usage model
Default behavior of wodHttpDLX is to do as much as possible to get resource you request - it will automatically connect, try to pass through proxy server (if set), try to authenticate with both proxy and the server, follow redirections,..., until it finally grabs requested resource, and then it will disconnect. If the problem occurs during this automation, you will receive notification about failure, so you can request the resource again using different information provided.
Or..
You can use wodHttpDLX to manually connect to the server, send request, check received response, parse received data by yourself - almost all aspect of HTTP protocol is covered by wodHttpDLX. You can have full control over it's behavior if needed - it's all up to you to decide which path you will go.

Since version 1.1.0.2, wodHtmlParser component is included in wodHttpDLX package free of charge. You can extract almost any data using this component. For example, you can easy get pictures from the page (using one line of code!!), find Google links, escape frames etc.. Provided samples will teach you on how to do basic stuff - and you'll see how easy it is!

When TCP Spy's Start button is pressed, it will capture and display all socket calls of the next application that starts and makes a socket call. It will also capture and display the data that is sent and received on the application's sockets. The application can be of any type.
TCP Spy displays its output in a scrollable text box. This data may additionally be sent to a file as text or HTML. By default, only 32KB of data is kept in the scrollable text box. Higher data limits may be selected, including unlimited.
Based upon each socket's first transferred message, TCP Spy will determine if the protocol being communicated over the socket is text based. If so, TCP Spy will test each following message for text. If a message contains only text, TCP Spy will display it as such. Else, TCP Spy will show the message in hexadecimal and ASCII. If the protocol is HTTP, the HTTP headers will be displayed as text.
The unregistered version does not provide the option of sending data to a file, and only keeps 32KB of data in the scrollable text box. When you register TCP Spy, you will be sent a code that enables the additional features.
