MS Exchange Server is not able to collect mails from external POP3 or IMAP4 accounts. popConnect is built to do that. It connects to POP3 or IMAP4 accounts, requests the mails and moves them to the right exchange mailbox. It works with Exchange version 4 and higher (including SBS).

Mailbox Verifier (MV) is a small free software that will notify you about new messages arrived to your mailbox. The number of mailboxes MV can check is unlimited; it works with the POP3 protocol and can't deal with web-interface mailboxes and IMAP-servers. Besides, MV is very flexible and easy to configure. MV is familiar with many popular mail clients and never conflicts with them. You can check for new messages either manually or automatically with any time interval chosen. New message alert can be combined from blinking program icon in tray, sound alert and/or pop-up window as you like. MV is tactful enough to disable window pop-up while screen saver is running, and can hold back from attempting to check mail when there is no Internet connection.

It is easy to check accounts, preview messages and delete unwanted ones directly on a server before download. You have two options to preview a message, quick preview and server preview. Quick preview will immediately show you the beginning of a message retrieved during the account checking process. Server preview is designed to display more information by connecting to the server again and retrieving additional lines for a single message. You can set number of lines to retrieve for both quick and server preview in the program. Message header is initially hidden in preview but there is also an option to show it if necessary.
