TrayDay

TrayDay - date, calendar and counter utility for the Windows tray, or Notification area in Windows XP. Includes week number features. TrayDay places an icon showing the date (day of the month) in the system tray. The icon resembles a page of a "tear-off" calendar. You can therefore see the date at a glance - often quicker and easier than resting your mouse over the clock, searching for an "Insert Date" menu, or having to reach for your diary. Move the mouse over the icon and the day of the week will appear; you can also have the Julian Day number, and the "Internet Time" as defined by Swatch®, in the Tooltip. Left-click the icon and a pop-up menu appears showing the date in various formats - including up to ten user defined formats. Click one and it will automatically be inserted into your application. You can select your favorite date format to be available by double-clicking the TrayDay icon. The user formats can include the date, time, and counters - particularly useful for date-stamping messages or files; and calendar week/day number dates - eg, 2002-W14-1 for April 1, 2002. TrayDay also has a calendar option; you can choose to have the monthly calendar "on top" all the time for quick reference. Now with week number display, to ISO (or your own) standard. Navigate months and years using the mouse or keyboard - or the Microsoft IntelliMouse® wheel - and type or paste any date in the format of your choice. The calendar shows Monday as first day of the week, but this can be changed to Sunday in the Settings dialog. You can choose to have Saturdays or Sundays (or both) displayed in red on the calendar.

NextSTART

NextSTART, by Winstep Software Technologies, is a powerful, skinnable, and dynamic pop-up menu that can be used as a replacement or supplement to the Windows Start Menu. NextStart also offers an incredible amount of flexibility so that the user can customize it to his needs and desires. Unlike many other menu programs, NextStart does NOT require you to re-enter the paths to all the programs listed on your Start Menu. NextStart will automatically read the directory structure of your Programs folder(s) and create a menu for you on the fly! In fact, thanks to NextStart's dynamic menu support, it will create as many menus as you wish based on any hard drive or directory! NextSTART features built-in task management to control running apps and the Windows System Tray. Gain access to your running apps via handy task icons/tiles right on your desktop. Best of all, you can choose the position of the "task list", the style, and even which icons should be displayed for specific applications. NS also allows you to place the Systray anywhere on your desktop! Not happy with the default NextSTART configuration? Would you prefer a menuing system that emulated BeOS or Mac? How about transparent menus? No problem...You can configure how the menus look and behave! Choose where scroll-buttons are located, how menu selection is made, which mouse button activates the menus, assign hot keys and more! You can choose the font, the size, the colors (even use gradients and bitmaps with transparency!), 3D effects, custom icons and, still, more! In fact, thanks to the improved Theme support of the NextSTART Preferences Manager you can now import and export themes based on the above options. X2Net BrowserPal

X2Net BrowserPal allows you to securely store, recall and manage passwords and other text information right inside Internet Explorer itself. Implemented as an Explorer Bar (like the Favorites or History bars that appear at the left of the Internet Explorer) when you need to enter a password/user id in a Web Form you can just drag 'n drop it right there, no switching around applications! A familiar Explorer like interface makes it simple to use! The user can decide his own data structure with folders, sub folders and items. Managing items is just like Explorer, with drag 'n drop to organize and a right-click context menu to manage them. The user can print his data (with preview) either completely or from any node in his folder structure, or export his data in the standard CSV format. Backup and restore is built-in, with automated daily backups for extra peace of mind. The interface can be locked by command, requiring a master password to access the data, or can be automatically locked after so many minutes without use, or when the screen saver kicks in. The underlying data cab be encrypted using the Rijndael algorithm with 256 bit keys providing full security. X2Net BrowserPal also add an additional item to the context menu that pops up when a user right-clicks in an input field in Internet Explorer, which permits access to the user's data even if the Web Page designer has deliberately disabled the menus and tool bars making access to the Explorer Bar impossible. In this case the user's data appears as a pop-up menu which mimics the user's folder structure, and selecting the appropriate menu item causes it to be inserted in the current field. X2Net BrowserPal also understands tabs in text items, and can tab from field to field in a web page filling in all the fields as it goes. X2Net BrowserPal's data can even be used in most programs other than Internet Explorer, by accessing it using a left and right mouse-click combination.
