Swingpro

Swingpro is a combination software/wireless swing chronograph that can measure swing speed (MPH) and reaction time (hundreds of seconds). Increasing a players swing speed allows for more time to wait-on-a-pitch before you swing. This enables batters to observing the pitch, allowing them to choose better pitches, to recognize the pitch flight pattern, and to establish pitch speed and timing. The result of these elements, therefore, is that the batter improves his/her overall batting performance by getting more hits, making better contact, and selecting the best pitch for the individual's strength. When you make better contact with an increased bat speed, you also hit the ball farther. It been determined by testing that for every 2 mph increase of your swing speed the ball will travel 40 feet further. Software includes a Swing Stck that attaches to any bat. Queuing Model Excel

The Queuing Model will calculate the optimum number of customer service points (staff) to minimize costs for your business. It considers the average arrival rate of customers, the average customer service rate, the cost to the business of customer waiting time (customer dissatisfaction), and the cost to operate customer service points. Queuing models are used extensively in call centers, toll booth operations and situations where a there is a queue for service including, counter staff, service staff, call response staff or maintenance staff. They can be applied in any business providing a customer service function. The model will calculate the optimum number of service points and allow you to test alternatives by manually inputting service point numbers. Additional results include the average number of customers waiting in the queue, their average waiting time, and service point (staff) utilization. The Total Cost Chart plots total cost verses number of service points to display the impact of changes in service point numbers.

Applets create colored plots (points & pie) or bar charts on white or black backgrounds. Plots and charts are automatically scaled to fit user-specified size. Data range and data points are displayed along with a user-specified title. Negative points are plotted, but only positive value bars are supported. Plot applet supports one point of a different color, colors of points or bars are user-defined. Pie chart shows only one pie piece to highlight its percentage of the total. Instructions explain how to program the display in a visual basic, or java, scripted active server page so that custom displays can be constructed on the server to support different clients.
