Miraplacid Text Driver extracts text from documents and saves it to file. After installation, Miraplacid Text Driver adds an icon to desktop and a virtual text printer driver to printers list. When you drag-and-drop a document to the icon, Miraplacid Text Driver extracts text from the document and displays it in a preview window. Alternatively, you can open the document and print it to printer "Miraplacid Text Driver" with the same result. You can save the whole text or particular pages to disk in code page you need or in Unicode. There are 3 output formats: plain text, text with layout and XML. You can choose between interact mode and auto-save mode. In auto-save mode all the text will be save to file you specify automatically. "{{DATE}}", "{{TIME}}", "{{IDENTITY}}", {{PAGE}} and {{JOB}} will be replaced with current date, time, some unique number, page number and print job id respectively. You can manage text extraction from VBScript or JScript. Bookshelf takes plain text (TXT) files and displays the contents as if they were printed in a book. You get two pages (or one if you wish) side by side with generous margins and a clean, uncluttered interface. You can click on the pages to turn them. It has a wide choice of page styles and convenient navigation system. Bookshelf easily allows you to come back to the read books and to open them in the place where you have stopped.

AimAtFile helps you find files by their content. It provides content search (full-text search) functionality based on Microsoft Indexing Service included in Windows 2000/XP/2003. There are many third party file search utilities but they scan all files each time you try to find a file. With AimAtFile, Indexing Service scans files in the background as a low-priority process. AimAtFile requests this index and returns search results. You receive a list of files matching your query immediately. You can search for files of many types: Microsoft Office Documents, HTML, PDF, Plain Text, etc.
When searching files, Windows Explorer also uses Indexing Service, but not so efficiently. These disadvantages often give the impression that Indexing Service does not help Windows Explorer to find files. As a result users often switch Indexing Service off. In contrast we suggest you switch Indexing Service on and use our program. You will be surprised how quickly you will find the files you are looking for.

SSI (Server Side Includes) is a special form of HTML comments (known as SSI commands or directives), which direct the web server to replace these commands to something other. For example directive is replaced by the contents of the file file_name. Also SSI supports variables, insertion of the current date/time, and more. SSI helps to avoid duplicate fragments in HTML files. (So, it can be used for easy insertion of such repeated things as navigation bars, copyrights, info for search engines, and like. It avoids the need of changing many files when such a repeated fragment changes.) But SSI works only in the case of the special support on the server side. But this program, Client Side SSI, allows you to convert files with SSI (SHTML files) to plain HTML files. This can be used both for testing SHTML files before placing them to a SSI-enabled web-server, for converting a SSI web site to a non-SSI site (note that not all web-servers support SSI and that non-SSI web sites work faster), and for developing plain (non-SSI) HTML files with the power of SSI. The program has a GUI interface. Command line interface support is planned for a future version.
