These are: a "Post-It" like function where one can stick eye-catching notes on the desktop, which can be dragged anywhere on the screen; an alarm clock, which rings at a specified time and can be snoozed with a click; a precise weather condition of major German cities. The display text is in German but right clicking displays an English menu through which one can control and customize the i-board. Interactive, 2D animated i-mate who weasles, grumbles and drinks beer. The animation consists of several basic movements. Via mouse the i-Mate interacts with the user: he may pick it up and let it fall or even affright it - if Paul's weaseling. Just after a short pause, Paul comes onto the front of the screen, thus the user may work undisturbed.
