MathShapesPro2X

With this AutoCAD add-on you can create mathematical curves. Curves can be defined as explicit, parametric or polar functions. Function's formula can also be changed dynamically by changing parameter 'p' value(parametric modeling). Use standard AutoCAD commands(revolve, extrude, ...) to create solids and surfaces from these mathematical functions. MathShapesPro2X is an useful tool for designers who need precise analytical definition of curves(surfaces, solids) in their drawings.

RF21

RF21 for Windows is a scientific calculator, plotter, programming and numeric system in one. It allows for permanent installation of a user's own commented functions and libraries. Such user functions may have one or several arguments and values. Works as an archive at the same time, with integrated searchable database, to let you find and reuse materials created years ago. Each function self-reassembles when its name is called, autonomously searching the libraries for all components needed. Predefined functions include gamma, zeta, psi and Bessel functions, error integral, cumulative Binomial distribution and more. On top of these and the user libraries, the program's numeric and plotting capabilities can be used, including: Numeric derivation and integration, Monte Carlo simulations, linear equations, matrix inversion and eigenvalues, nonlinear equation systems, n-dimensional function minimizer (Dennis & Schnabel method), Runge Kutta method for (systems of) differential equations, accelerated summation of series. Fraction reckognizer. Fast screenplots and an environment for designing printable plots, which may as well be exported to -.GIF and -.BMP files. Ample support for both simple and parametric plots, composition of several curves into one picture, drawing of directional or vector fields. Comes with standard libraries covering areas of science and mathematics. Some 200 standard functions, see author's homepage for a systematic reference of these.

MadCalc

MadCalc is a full featured graphing calculator application for your PC running Windows. With MadCalc you can graph rectangular, parametric, and polar equations. Plot multiple equations at once. Change the colors of graphs and the background. Use the immediate window feature to evaluate complex multivariate expressions. Teachers can use MadCalc to create handouts for your classroom. Students can use it instead of that tiny calculator screen while you are doing your calculus homework. MadCalc supports all the commonly used functions including trigonometric functions, inverse trigonometric functions, hyperbolic functions, logarithms, and rounding and absolute value functions. MadCalc allows you to export your work as bitmap files for printing or editing. MadCalc allows you to zoom in and out on graphs or set the scale in terms of x and y explicitly or scroll just by clicking on the graph and dragging it. MadCalc provides all the essential graphing functionality without the complexity, cost, or overhead of something like Mathematica or MatLab.

PatchMaker

PatchMaker is a 2D motion tracking program designed for intraframe video editing and compositing. It can determine the motion of a selected object in the scene to a subpixel precision under a specified parametric motion model. The computed motion can be used to solve the following tasks: 1) Placing a patch on a moving object. The patch stays glued to the object because its motion was so accurately determined. 2) Background stabilizing (eliminating unwanted motion in the scene caused, for example, by camera jerks) PatchMaker has built-in means of integration with Adobe® After Effects® (AE) that allow data exchang between the applications with a single button click. The AE plug-in module coming with the PatchMaker takes care of importing/exporting footage between current projects as well as applying computed transformations to the active layer. When working with the PatchMaker, the user has to procced through the following steps: 1) Load both footage (to serve as the underlay) and the overlay: from files of common formats (BMP, JPEG, TIFF, TARGA, GIF, and PNG), or by importing active layer footage from an AE composition; 2) By using a handy brush tool in the built-in mask editor, select an object to be tracked; 3) Launch the tracking process (hold on, it is going to be fast!); 4) When finished: perform high-quality rendering of: the transformed overlay with an alpha channel, or the underlay with the overlay applied, or the stabilized underlay to files of the above formats or to an AVI sequence, or export the computed transformations to AE and apply them to the active layer. PatchMaker has a comfortable user interface that enables complete visual control over the tracking process. For instance, you can visually organize the tracking in stages, or preview current results immediately during computation, or change the patch on the fly.

Dexterpen

Dexterpen is a stand-alone Windows graphics utility for those small repetetive 2D drawing tasks which take away valuable time from your working day. Use Dexterpen to create collections of drawings of slightly different components to import into your favorite CAD program or into Word. You can also use Dexterpen to dynamically experiment with components without having to learn AutoLISP or VBA or buy an expensive 3D parametric design program. The screen is divided into the parameter area, simply a column of sliders with edit boxes, and the graphics area where you add graphics objects like lines, arcs, circles etc. As you add parameters you can then add lines, rectangles, circles and arcs whose dimensions depend on the parameters. Dexterpen can also do those repetitive (and sometimes error prone) CAD and CAM calculations which you do every day. Get immediate visual and numeric feedback as you move the sliders. Dexterpen is a great way to do "what if" experiments without having to know how to program. Length and area calculating functions are included.

Sheet Lightning Demo

Sheet Lightning is a specialised engineering 2D/3D CAD System for creating and unfolding sheet metal designs for fabrication or manufacture. It handles everything from simple cylinders, cones, rectangular ducts and ovals, to adapters, adapting any of these section types, interections between any of these types and multi-intersections of any of these types. This enables it to handle breeches, lobster-back or segmented bend and very unusual or complex one-off designs. All pieces can have centre line offset and oblique or skewed sections. Simple designs are handled with ease through a second 'parametric' environment that requires only the typing of key dimension values to modify the design. A library of standard designs is included. Futhermore all designs created using the full 3D system can be automatically analysed and converted to a parameteric form, then saved as extensions to the existing library. The software integrates to general CAD systems via seamless DXF transfer, exporting both 2D patterns and 3D models. The product has been provensince the earlienst version in the worldwide market place since 1990, offering truly unique design capability.
