Mail Snoop Pro is an anti-spam and email notification application designed to monitor any number of mailboxes, finding and destroying spam without disturbing you and alerting you when there is new mail you need to see.
Mail Snoop Pro works in the background, checking your mail server at scheduled intervals or manually if needed. Each email is quickly scanned, marking or deleting unwanted Spam mail and advising of new mail.
The filter system rapidly checks new emails for any suspicious items. Beginning by checking if the sender is a "Friend", followed by checks for blacklisted senders, subject field, senders field, message header, message text, attachments and country codes.
If an email is found to be spam, it will be archived for future reference and deleted from the server, alternatively it can be "bounced" back to the sender or used to generate an automatic complaint to the senders ISP.

If you're about to add a new task to your list, there is no need to bring up the organizer, just press another hot key, and the form for adding tasks will appear. Its special views for tasks, today and top lists, are designed for displaying tasks appointed for today and top tasks from each category in one list. In the top list view you can vary the number of top tasks to be displayed. In all the views tasks can be automatically numbered, if you want to. Tasks can be sorted by categories or by date. This program includes a few interesting and useful technologies i.e.

This includes source code, so you could use it as it is or play around with the code to satisfy your requirements.
This requires .Net Framework to be installed first (I use v1.1). There is no installation required. Just copy the executable from bin\Release folder in the zip and run it. You should find the "My" icon in the System Tray. Double click to open main window. Chose IMAP Client from menu and enter user, password, IMAP Server and click Connect to check mail. Double click on SysTray icon to hide window.
I made this software to serve as a personal utility for those features which are not available in the market. First one is the System Tray IMAP Client - It is very useful because I don't have to keep the Mail program open in the taskbar, there being no way to tell if there is new mail otherwise.

You can preview and even delete mail without actually downloading it into your mailprogram.

If you're annoyed by people sending you large attachments via email, InboxSpecialist is for you. Like a standard new mail checker, it will access your email server at specific intervals and check for new mail. Unlike most checkers, though, it displays the size of waiting mail, giving you the option of deleting it instead of downloading it. All pertinent information such as file size and whether or not a file is attached is given. It is even able to download only the first x Kbytes of an email. Let's say you get an email that has some text in it and a 4 megabyte MP3 file.
