xSharez scanner is a multithreaded NetBIOS/SMB scanner designed for both network administrators and users interested in the network security issues. This software will help you to solve one of the most serious problems of all modern computer networks - unauthorized data access using NetBIOS/SMB protocol.
What xSharez Scanner can do for you:
- Audit B and C classes networks for the shared resources availability with different usernames and passwords.
- Get an in-depth information about scanned computers, such as operating system, NetBIOS name, Workgroup, User name, Mac address.
- Mount shared resources that are found by the program as network drives or simply browse them using Windows Explorer.
- Generate advanced HTML and CSV reports and analyze the network security level using this information.
- Check the vulnerability of Windows 95/98/ME using integrated password detection tool.

A free multi-threaded IP,SNMP and NetBIOS scanner with a modern interface and several advanced features. It is intended for both system administrators and users who are interested in computer security. The program pings computers, scans for listening TCP ports and shows what types of resources are shared on a network (including system and hidden). In addition, it allows you to mount shared resources as network drives, browse them using Windows Explorer, filter the results list and more. SoftPerfect Network Scanner can also check for a user-defined port and report if it is found open, resolve host names and auto-detect your local IP range.

Essential NetTools is a set of network tools for diagnosing networks and monitoring your computer's network connections.
NetStat: displays the list of your computer's network connections, information on open TCP and UDP ports, IP address, and connection states. The program can map open ports to the owning application.
NBScan: a powerful and fast NetBIOS scanner. This tool provides a graphical user interface and easy management of the lmhosts file and features parallel scanning, which allows checking a class C network in less than one minute.
PortScan: an advanced TCP port scanner that allows you to scan your network for active ports. This tool features both conventional (full connect) and stealth (half-open) scanning modes.
Shares: monitors and logs external connections to your computer's shared resources, lists local shares, as well as allows to connect to remote resources that gives Windows 98/Me users NT user-level connectivity.
SysFiles: a convenient editor for the system files: services, protocol, networks, hosts, and lmhosts.
NetAudit (NetBIOS Auditing Tool): allows you to perform security checks on your network and/or individual computers offering the NetBIOS file sharing service.
RawSocket: provides you with the ability to establish low-level TCP and UDP connections to troubleshoot and test different networking services.
TraceRoute and Ping: these familiar utilities featuring customizable options and a convenient results presentation.
NSLookup: allows you to convert IP addresses to hostnames and vice versa, obtain aliases, and perform advanced DNS queries.
ProcMon: displays the list of running processes. With this tool, you can identify hidden applications, kill running processes, and manage the usage of your PC's resources more effectively.
Other features include report generation in HTML, text, and comma delimited formats; quick IP address sharing between different tools; a System Summary window.

ANASIL 2.2 is the network analyser of local networks and the protocols decoder for the Ethernet class networks. Prepares in-depth network analysis, captures and decodes network packets, checks if any sniffer is running in the LAN. Measures the network traffic, activity of computers and the transmition speed, makes analysis of frames, connections with WWW servers, point-to-point tests, creates lists and statistics of the network protocols. ANASIL 2.2 intruduces for the first time the concept of ANASIL DESKTOP AGENTS - a small, resident module to be started automatically with the system on the network station. The Agent communicates with the main ANASIL system and provides it with detailed information on the station's configuration. It may also make analysis of aplcations usage, shut down or restart the station remotely, or send the station's screen dump. ANASIL 2.2 may be especially useful for: Local area network supervisors (media load distribution analysis will be helpful to find stations generating most of the frame traffic, and point-to point tests will help find defected stations. Network profile and new station detection will allow you to easily detect intruders, who connect to your network segment. Additionally, the network profile may be used for inventory purposes), Network programmers (frame grabbing and analysis are invaluable tools while testing communication between network applications running on different stations. It is easy to create decoders for our own communication protocols in the programmable protocol decoder and then to monitor these protocols with ANASIL. ANASIL is also able to monitor the status of the NetBIOS adapters on remote stations), Network servicemen (protocol decoder and frame grabbing will be useful to detect and correct network configuration problems and point-to-point tests will help to finally check the network hardware).
