ActiveLaunch

ActiveLaunch gives you the ability to open frequently used applications, documents, and folders not using your mouse only, but also using your keyboard, never having to memorize the multitude of hotkeys. ActiveLaunch main window looks similar to a regular folder window in My Computer with icons reflected in it being analogues to Windows shortcuts. Any icon can be assigned to any keyboard shortcuts. To launch a program from the keyboard you only need to call up the main ActiveLaunch windows by pressing the hotkey, and then pressing the keyboard shortcut associated with that program without any keyboard modifiers. Just two hits. That is very quick. Keyboard shortcuts are listed next to each icon; therefore you don't need to memorize them. And surely you may open folders, documents, or web-sites the same way. Alt + Backspace is the default hotkey combination, but you can change it. Different sections can be created as subfolders. You may use sections as regular folders to divide your icons into categories. Besides, sections may be used to run a group of programs, documents, and folders. To do this it is enough to create a section, assign it to a keyboard shortcut and place there the icons you want. After this you hit the hotkey to call up ActiveLaunch and press the corresponding key, while holding CTRL key. And indeed, instead of pressing the keyboard shortcut you may click the corresponding icon as well. While holding Ctrl you can also select desired icons and launch corresponding objects (e.g. folders, files, and web pages) at once. After launching an application, opening a document or a folder the ActiveLaunch window is automatically closed. To add icons you can either use the menu or the Windows Drag&Drop technology. However, in some Windows versions, drives and My Documents folder can be added only through the menu. In a multi-user environment every Windows-user is assigned with an individual set of properties and icons.

BladeBox Iron Edition

BladeBox creates virtual encrypted volumes, which are AES-ENCRYPTED files which can be mounted as if they were disk drives (with a DOS drive letter too). Virtual Encrypted Volumes (VEV) are seen and considered by the operating system as if they were actual volumes (drives), they have a drive letter, a volume name, and you can see them inside your My Computer resources and inside the Windows Explorer.BUT actually they are transparently encrypted files on disk. Every time you write or read data to those volumes, the data buffer is transparently encrypted/decrypted on-the-fly. The key concept for security is that data on disk ALWAYS remain encrypted. BladeBox gives System Administrators full control over network deployment of Virtual Encrypted Volumes by providing support for an administrative master password. Volumes can be automatically unmounted after XX (user-defined) minutes of inactivity or they can be quickly and silently unmounted by pressing the proper hot-key (special combination of keys).

CryptoForge

CryptoForge is the suite of encryption tools for personal and professional security. It allows you to protect the privacy of your sensitive files and messages by encrypting them with up to four strong cryptographic algorithms. Once the information has been encrypted, it can be stored on insecure media or transmitted on an insecure network (like the Internet), and still remain secret. Later, the information can be decrypted into its original form. CryptoForge integrates the strongest cryptography available today into the Windows environment. The file encryption module enables you to encrypt, decrypt, and wipe -with the built-in file shredder- files of any type, as well as entire folders and drives, from within Windows Explorer or My Computer with right-click ease. The text encryption module includes a secure text editor allows you to create, encrypt, and decrypt documents in a way that they can be sent by any email, messenger, or chat program. You can also use the built-in SMTP client. CryptoForge provides four encryption algorithms: 448-bit Blowfish, 256-bit Rijndael (AES), 168-bit Triple DES, and 256-bit Gost. It also includes powerful compression to strengthen cryptographic security even more. The command line interface allows quick integration into automated processes and scripts, and lets you perform tasks in both interactive and non-interactive server running modes. Additional features include multiple encryption, filename encryption, cipher speed meter, password cache with timeout, and compression level control.

DDFileCatcher

DDFileCatcher catches files, shortcuts or folders dropped onto it from Windows programs such as Windows Explorer, My Computer or Windows dialogs. It turns the files into full file paths. Runs as an addin launched by Microsoft Word or Excel, making tables or detecting existing tables and adding to them. Also runs stand-alone, copying files to the clipboard or a text file. There options to include file informatoin, such as the size and date. DDFileCatcher is ideal for getting filepaths to paste into "file open" dialogs, "hard-coded" filepaths as used in computer programming. DDFileCatcher is ideal for file cataloging, saving the file paths of your music or picture files, or file searches for example. Another use could be to keep a list of the files in different folders.
