e-Xpressor is harmony recognition software creating ready chord progression to a tune. Easy and friendly interface. Accessible to all. No musical learning is required. Just load MIDI tune and you get real instrumental accompaniment like a musician which plays chords to a song by ear.
e-Xpressor is designed for people who want to compose songs and play accompaniments by ear with a computer and sound card, as well as for all people who love music and wish to educate of ear to music.
The main features of e-Xpressor:
1.No knowledge of notate, chord names, keys etc. are required.
2.Parses structure of melody and automatically recognizes its key and harmony.
3.Generates chords for each bar of the tune and writes its in separate MIDI channel.
4.Creates also several chords which can be used as replacements in each bar of composition.
5.Offers convenient accompaniment edit interface permitting to change the chord progression by ear.
6.Offers accompaniment styles for guitar or piano depending on the musical characteristics of the tune.
7.Auto-arranger mode.

Minimum melody requirements for auto-accompaniment making:
a. the tune must be single-voiced.
b. the tune should not be short: it is better, if it contains not less than 8 bars.

1) It can open and save audio files of these formats, "wav", "au", "snd" and "raw", And Mp3 with external encoder. Save part to new file, Quick open and many file opening are supported.
2) Record and play audio. Variable speed play, forward and reverse play, instant U-Turn play, selected part play are also possible. Quick play allows to jump start playing just at any place by a click.
