ShowFont is a Windows utility designed to list the fonts available on your system, show some of the characteristic properties of each font, and display a text sample - or character table - for the font. ShowFont provides more detailed information on fonts than conventional font display programs - or the Windows' Fonts applet. This detail includes: Style - Weight & Orientation (Regular, Italic, Bold, etc.); Size - Both Points and Pixel Size (Width x Height); Character Set (ANSI, OEM, SYMBOL, etc.); Pitch (Fixed or Proportional); Type (Raster or Scalable); Family (Modern, Swiss, etc.); Face Name (which is often very different from the File name); Display Name (which often contains more information than the Face name); File Name (as recorded in the Windows' Registry); ShowFont also allows you to: Resize and reposition the dialog; Show just Monospaced (Fixed pitch) or Variable pitch fonts; Show just Raster (bitmapped) or Scalable fonts; Show some sample text - or an ASCII character table, and Edit the sample text. The ShowFont dialog can be resized - and repositioned - even on multi-monitor systems. The program automatically saves your settings and preferences and restores them when it is run again.

ColorCache is a comprehensive color picker and palette building tool for use on Windows 98, NT4, ME, 2000 and XP. ColorCache allows you to create harmonious palettes and color swatches for all of your projects. You can add new palettes to ColorCache as needed, and export them as Photoshop Color Swatch files (.ACO), Photoshop Color Table files (.ACT) or as XML files for transfer to other colleagues or computers. You can also distribute on-line and printable versions of your palettes and swatches. Colors can be acquired from anywhere on the screen (or screens, if you use a multi-monitor setup) using the ColorCache dropper tool. The dropper tool has a built-in magnifier and allows multiple colors to be captured in one session, without having to return to ColorCache each time. ColorCache can be automatically loaded into the system tray when you start up your computer. You can activate ColorCache, or just the dropper tool any time using the designated hot keys. Any on-screen color can be sent to the Windows clipboard and/or a ColorCache palette with just a mouse click and a key press! Each newly captured color is stored in a palette, and optionally, can be automatically copied to the Windows clipboard in a format of your choosing, ready to be pasted into other programs. If none of the supplied color formats are suitable, you can define your own. Select a color/colors on any palette and adjust hue, saturation and lightness. You can adjust whole color schemes - for example, take an existing, pleasing color scheme and create variations in different colors. The ColorCache Palette Builder tool effortlessly builds palettes with new color schemes based on one or more source colors. ColorCache handles all the color theory so you don't have to.
