Taro Software's IsItUp - When you need to know the status of your network. IsItUp monitors multiple network, email, website devices around the clock and notifies you, via email or pager, of the status of that device - when it goes down, and when it comes back up! IsItUp maintains complete statistics for each device it monitors - up time, maximum response time, minimum response time, standard deviation and a host of other measurements. What's more, it tracks the last successful and last failed Traceroute to a destination so it can determine where the break-down occurred. IsItUp can continuously monitors multiple "pingable" devices using TCP/IP's Ping utility; it tests email servers by bouncing messages off auto-reply accounts and websites by using HTTP. Devices are monitored at specified intervals, notifying you, by email alert, pager alert or phone, when they go down - or come back up.
Features:
- Monitor any number of devices, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
- Checks TCP/IP (ping) devices, websites, LAN servers, email servers, switches, routers, etc.
- Graphical interface is easy to customize and use
- Configuration "wizard" makes it easy to add devices and configure options
- Watch any mail system by sending email messages and looking for returned echos
- System tests reports on uptime, average response time, and logs all data to a Microsoft Access database for you to work with on your own
- notification by pager (modem), mail (MAPI or SMTP), or execute a batch job
- multiple people can receive status notifications and each person has their own rules
- rules allow you to specify how many times a query fails
- notify on every "nth" failure
-option to notify you when an item returns to operation (comes back up)

This trends management program handles field data from one or more acquisition systems, or internal performance data from servers. It manages any kind of periodically updated value in a database, which can be reached by SQL query from the computer on which the program is being run.
Data can be displayed, stored, printed and exported either in graphical or numerical format. The program integrates spreadsheet functions and allows visualization on one or multiple pages. Each graphic can display a maximum of six curves. Trends can be visualized on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
Graphics display point values as they arrive from fields.
It can be useful to follow the trends of data mainly over a long period of time and to store important data for successive review. It can be useful also to follow the relevant parameters of a server to control and optimize the performances in peak activities periods, as can be a sustained alarms period in a supervision system.
The maximum number of points data the program can manage is 10,000. The daily, weekly, monthly and yearly graphics report, on selection, the arithmetic average or the weighted average (hourly average for daily and weekly trends and daily average for monthly and yearly trends). The weighted average is based on the time interval between an upgrade and the next.
The data can be only visualized or also memorized in a historical archive.
Useful to display trends of data coming from different sources with a single program.

ToggleVOLUME is a handy utility that gives you quick and easy control over the sound volume on your computer speakers and/or headphones.
Highlights:
- Control sound volume using the wheel on your mouse.
- Use Presets to quickly set the desired volume.
- Use the FadeMute feature to avoid sudden on/off volume changes.
Wheel Volume
With the Wheel Volume feature you can easily change the volume using just the wheel on your mouse. Scrolling upwards increases volume; scrolling downwards decreases volume. And you won't loose your regular scrolling ability!
Presets
Are you frustrated when one song is very loud and the next is much quieter? Having to continually change the volume when every new song starts can be very annoying if you have to open up your CD or MP3 player every time.
With presets you can quickly change the volume at the touch of a key. Press Ctrl+5 for middle range volume; Ctrl+6 for slightly louder. You can use anything from Ctrl+0 for silence up to Ctrl+9 for maximum volume.
Fade Mute
When the phone rings or someone is standing over your shoulder you usually need to turn the volume down. Fade Mute solves this problem and in the most elegant way. Just assign FadeMute to a hotkey then whenever you press that HotKey, ToggleVOLUME will mute the sound. Just press the HotKey again to return to the previous volume.
But the nice thing about FadeMute is that it works just like the name says. Instead of instantly switching to silence it gradually reduces the volume, avoiding volume shock. It does the same thing as it restores the volume. You even have control over the speed of FadeMute.
