Access Lock is an easy-to-use system-tray security utility you can use to secure your desktop when you are away from your computer. Just configure the program, define a password and double click the Access Lock system-tray icon every time you need to disable and hide your desktop. While it is locked, the system keys and taskbar are disabled and the mouse cursor is trapped, unauthorized password entries are met with an audio alert and logged to disk. The only thing is available in this mode is a pop-up password-entry dialog with an input area for the password that restores your desktop to working condition. Access Lock enables you to lock your PC by two methods. The first one hides your desktop and shows a screen saver while the second one does not hide it allowing others to watch what happens there that is very useful when you would like to demonstrate something to people but do not want them to play with it. It also prevents unauthorized access on boot and allows people around to leave messages while the system is locked. You will find the program interface very easy to negotiate. Power Pong X. It started as a cheap 4-color pong clone with one mode, and your paddles acted funny when you pressed the directions. Now, there are 43 modes, a one player game, practice modes, secrets, cheats and a hidden mode. With Hi-q 3D rendered graphics to round it out, power pong is a game that I hope you'll find worth the download. The fast paced action varies from extremely easy, such as the oversized DK mode, to the extremely difficult "psychotic multiball mode", in which hundreds of balls occupy the screen at once. There's something for everonye. The controlls are easy to learn, with only 3 keys per player. Don't let that make you think there isn't much variety, what with the simplicity and all. With so many different ways to play, PPX won't get stale. I won't bother you with my rantings much longer, but let me say that PPX is worth a download not only because it's a good game, but because it's not a big-budget, $60, ripoff of a hardrive gobbling monster that some media giant decides to dupe gamers into buying. It's a game made by a real person, with real games in mind.

Earth Screensaver has a number of customised options:
Apply colour filter: This option allows a user-defined colour filter to be applied to the image. The colour filter currently selected is shown in the rectangle below the slider controls. You can change the currently selected filter colour by moving the slider controls for the red, green, and blue filter components. In general, light pastel colours work best for the colour filter.
Shadow brightness: Selecting this option allows the areas in shadow to be set. Values range from 0 (darkest) to 100 (brightest) and can be changed by either holding and dragging the slider with your mouse, clicking either side of the slider, or using the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard.
Show current phase: If this option is selected then Earth Screensaver will show the current phase of the earth.
Randomise starting phase: Selecting this option will choose a random starting phase of the earth each time that Earth Screensaver is initialised. Note that this option will not be active if Show current phase is selected.

TriDComm has a pair of Norton-Commander-style listing windows,
all of the ususal file and directory folder icons are rendered
as three dimensional objects. File types are indicated by distinctive
shapes, and the third dimension of the objects (z-axis) represent
the file size. At the base of each object is the file detail material:
name, size, moddate and attributes. The app supports the usual file
manager controls (directory tree, copy, move, rename, view file, hexview file,
view graphic file, edit file, delete file, compare files, find file, make directory, network drive un-/mapping) and zip file handling.
It uses the mouse along with the Ctrl and Alt keys to navigate around in the
3D space provided (pan, zoom and rotate). And you are even given control
over background color etc. Version 1.2 includes 3D icons, 3D trace route, 3D ping, private chat and an FTP server.
