Tri Text Tools

Tri Text Tools is three utilities for viewing or new-line format of any text files on PC's that use MS-DOS. NLX or New Line Xlate translates text files such as source code files from UNIX or Apple MAC's to PC-DOS so they can be easily read on screen or used by a editor or word processor. STRINGS extracts strings of text from non-text files such as word processor documents. HEAD examine the front, middle or tail of text files by specific numbers of lines.

Combination of GREPPES Text Tools and TRI Text Tools in ONE Package. PDGREPPE: Pattern Definition GREP. FGREPPE: Fast Fixed GREP with Pattern Editing. PDGREPPE searches by Extended Regular Expressions. NLX, STRINGS and HEAD provide support and basic filter functions for other standard TEXT file operations. Options: screen paging, line wrap, descent into file system w/ multiple drives and MANY other options.

GREPPES Text Tools

PDGREPPE is Pattern Definition GREP with Pattern Editing. FGREPPE is Fast Fixed GREP with Pattern Editing. PDGREPPE searches by Extended Regular Expressions. It can reuse search patterns from definition files, employ (MarkedGroups) of pattern data that appear later in patterns. FGREPPE uses FIXED literal patterns. The many options include screen paging, line wrap, high light of match areas and descent into file system with multiple drives.
