Albion StopNow!

"Take regular breaks" is probably the most frequent advice you will receive when you talk to medical professionals about Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). Albion StopNow helps you take that advice. It monitors your computer and gives you a discreet reminders if you work for too long without taking that necessary break. Note: RSI is also called Repetitive Stress Injury, OOS (Occupational Overuse Syndrome) or CTD (Cumulative Trauma Disorder). More information and resources can be found on the program's website at www.albionresearch.com/astopnow.

Clicking

Clicking is a fun arcade-style puzzle game where you earn points by clicking the clusters of like-colored blocks (in groups of three or more) to collapse the columns. It features: high-quality graphics, good sound effects & music, high scores, 4 levels of difficulty, 10 levels of play, etc. You don't need to be Einstein to play this game, but it is fun and reasonably addictive as long as you don't already have Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) in your wrist. Verdict? Clicking is a great little time-waster.

Break Pal Cardio

Avoid the desk job body. Stay in shape right at your desk. Break Pal teaches a new soft style exercise every 30 minutes to keep you in shape, healthy. Moves that will focus on a certain muscle group and get your heart rate up. Once you learn the move through the simple video instruction, you then will move on to the next screen where you will do the move at a faster pace until you feel you've raised your heart rate and sustained it to your goal. This whole process is anywhere from 2-5 minutes depending upon desired results. A timer will track your progress and you can build up to longer durations. By getting up from your desk and getting a few minutes of exercise, you'll feel better and increase your metabolism. You'll also greatly reduce the strain that sitting at a desk for long periods puts on your body. This will also boost productivity. Exercise always does. You'll get more done in a day by taking a few minutes out every half hour. It's also a well known fact that exercise is cumulative. Exercising for three minutes every thirty minutes for an eight hour work day will give you the same results as doing a forty five minute aerobics class, with no driving to the gym. The full version has Twenty seven lessons which will work every part of your body. It's really the easiest way I know of to get in shape. Stay stress free and productive by keeping this program running in the background. Helps prevent Repetitive strain injuries and all other problems associated with sitting at a computer too long

My Training Diary

My Training Diary is a simple PC-based program designed to be used by both novice and elite athletes. It caters for both coached and uncoached athletes, as well as coaches and support staff. Data for many competitors can be stored in the database - making it ideal for coaches and support staff. Unlike other training diaries, the training program and review process can be 'driven' by either the coach or the athlete. The foundation of My Training Diary is the ability to electronically exchange information between all stakeholders - provided the coach and athlete have internet access, they can communicate wherever they are in the world. For example, My Training Diary can be configured to allow the exchange of 1. information between the athlete, coach, sports psychologist, physiotherapist, nutritionist, and anyone else the coach wishes to add to the support staff list. 2. a forum used to share ideas and report progress (great for injury management) 3. coaching/club reminders and alerts 4. a catalogue of relevant athlete-specific web-sites 5. training schedule and workout performance 6. coach-configured performance markers 7. numerous reports
