SmartSync Pro is a universal tool to backup and synchronize your important data to the same drive, different drive, removable ZIP/JAZ/CD-RW drive, network volume or even remote computer. To make the application automatically copy new and modified files to some destination, you just need to setup the profile using easy to use wizard just once. The profile defines what, where and when to copy. Obsolete files will be also removed when they are not needed. If source data are destroyed or lost, they can be recovered with one mouse click.
SmartSync Pro works in two modes:
Local backup/synchronization: is used to replicate important files to another easily accessible place, to save files to a zip archive, to make a compressed incremental backups and to synchronize two or more folders.
Remote Synchronization: is the unique feature that lets you synchronize files and folders when computers can't be connected via local network. This is an ideal solution for those who use the same files at home and in the office. SmartSync Pro tracks changes and additions in source files, compresses those files to the package that is transferred to the remote computer using removable disk, e-mail of FTP right from the application. The application on remote computer unpacks the package, copies new files to the proper location and can delete obsolete files. SmartSync Pro can be set up to fully automatic synchronization of remote computers via e-mail or FTP.
SmartSync Pro has a flexible filters system that let you copy only the files that are needed. The application has built-in scheduler, activity log, password protection for packages, can track up to 100 copies of changed and removed files, supports starting of external applications before and after synchronization. Task Plus Professional is a powerful multi-user network scheduling calendar handling up to 100 simultaneous users on a local area network. A color coded 4-month calendar is viewable on screen at all times. Dates with pending tasks will be colored red while holidays and completed tasks will have different colors.
Each task can be assigned to one or more users. Tasks include priority levels, private flag, rich text format notes, alarms, completion notes, file attachments and assignees. AAP Reminder (AapRem) is free program that organizes birthdays, appointments, or any event. Each time you enter Windows, AapRem reminds you of those upcoming events, which current date / time is close enough to do something about it. How it works. At the start of your computer Reminder appears. It reminds you about future events which beginning is close enough to do something about it. After reading Reminder message you usually switch to Activities and Priorities (AAP). Here, in Input Panel, where activities are arranged in
alphabetical order, you enter time that you spent for activities. No need in special efforts to remember the spent time. The natural precision with which you remember time spent for an activity during the day at the end of this day or in the morning of next one is enough. AAP forgives and forgets small errors in spent time. After you have entered spent time, typically you look at Priority panel where activities are arranged according to their priorities. Colors help you quickly distinguish high medium and low priority activities. That is all about typical everyday AAP using. You see how it easy and quickly. But is it useful? Well I guess so.
