The basic idea behind slimy blobs is simple; split (or repel) the attacking blobs into successively smaller blobs until they vanish completely. Blobs come in four different colors; red, green, blue, and purple. In order to split a blob it must be shot with a bullet having a matching color; a red bullet splits any red blobs and so on. When a blob is hit by a non-matching bullet the blob is repelled only (as opposed to being repelled and split when the colors match). Each time a blob gets past the defense and crashes into the shield surrounding the gun tower the shield energy (represented by its radius) is reduced up to a point where the game is simply over.
Slimy blobs combines action, strategy, and puzzle into one game. The action lies in the constant defense of the gun tower by splitting and repelling the attacking blobs. This is, however, complemented with more strategic or puzzle-like aspects which arise due to the fact that almost any action within the game comes with long-term effects as well as the short-term effects ("the action"). Splitting a blob, for example, produces two smaller and faster blobs each of which have to be dealt with at some later point in the game. Given that there are already several small blob splinters around the gun tower, it may be strategically more appealing to simply repel the blob and deal with it as a whole later on when the smaller splinters have been dealt with first.
In sum, the essence of playing slimy blobs lies in trying out various strategies in search for particular strategies that lead to high scores and a manageable defense situation (manageable number of blobs) for as long as possible. This task is made more and more difficult through the game as the number of blobs constantly increases. From this it also follows that the best strategy may be to change between different strategies during the game as the pressure upon the defender constantly increases.

iSpellWell is an innovative new software product that helps children
master spelling. It includes 65 lessons for grades 1-5 and nearly 1000
words and sentences. Additional lessons can be added easily by typing
them in yourself or downloading them from the Internet.
The foundation of iSpellWell is an intuitive testing interface that
focuses on the individual child's performance. The more trouble a child
has with a particular word, the more the child is required to practice
that word. iSpellWell is designed to work with a students' weekly
spelling lessons. It uses state-of-the-art speech-to-text technology
and Microsoft's Agent Interface to provide a personal learning
experience for children. Little animated characters call children by
their first name and utter encouragement throughout the learning
process.
Although iSpellWell is a great product for individual students, it was
designed to take advantage of the relationships between schools,
students and parents. iSpellWell is founded on the idea that spelling
lessons should be shared between schools, teachers and students. Custom
spelling lessons are easily created and shared between users making it
a perfect software solution for schools and teachers. Groups of lessons
can be exported to a single file that can be sent to other users for
use on their computer. Because a single file is used to store a series
of lessons, it can be sent via diskette, e-mail or other network
communication. Lessons can even be shared over the Internet.

Sometimes what you need is not an advanced text processor but a virtual scrapbook to write down an occasional thought, a plan for the day or an Internet URL. With a plain text editor, which can be used for this purpose, you have to run the program first, then create a new file, then type a line or two and save the file. Too many things to do in order to simply write down a thought? Get rid of them with JC&MB Quicknote.
JC&MB Quicknote is an always-available notepad tool that lets you type or copy/paste bits of text anytime, demanding no space on your taskbar and as little memory as it can. The program is accessible via shortcuts or via a small line on the top edge of your desktop - move your mouse over it and the tool will 'wake up' and display its transparent and resizable window.
But this tiny tool has more possibilities than it seems on the first thought! Beneath the normal text functions, it can run on startup, let you directly access frequently run programs, encrypt secret texts, convert units and even change the system volume by hotkeys. It has also an integrated Task-Manager, and a reminding tool, which can remind you of your notes at certain times, run executables or shutdown automatically your PC. The program is absolutely free, so download this handy tool today and concentrate on content rather than form.

Lines3D is a variant classic game.
You like classic Lines games, but feel a necessity of renewal?
You think such games need something special and fresh to awake your interest again?
We have found original solving of this problem!
Let's make a viewing transformation - change a viewing angle of game field! No more flat Lines! It is time for Lines3D!
There is a board of 9*9 cells. There are 6 types of balls. Player can move them
around by clicking on them and clicking the place he want them to go. After each
move another 3 balls appear on the board. Their type is randomly selected. In the
upper left corner of the window Player can see which type next three balls will be.
The idea is to make a line with 5 or more balls of the same type. The line can go
either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. If player do that, the line disappears and
player gets 1 point for each disappeared ball. There is a counter in the upper right
corner of the screen that indicates the number of points.
The goal is to get as many points as possible before all board is filled with balls.
There is a records table, where Player can see the 10 top results of previous
players.

PopUp Killer is a small program which can be configured to automatically close previously selected Windows... cool uh?
Well... this is basically the idea of the program, but since the first public version, No Popup has evolved from a purely manual application, where you had to manually select the PopUps to an intelligent program that can detect potential PopUp windows and close them so fast that you will not even have the time to see them!

As the world moves into new digital era, producing software, especially Internet software, becomes more and more profitable.
The future looks bright, even for small software development companies, except for one fact. Software piracy (usage of stolen non-licensed software) is becoming one of the major headaches, these days. With information available to anyone anywhere around the globe it is obvious that once the stolen copy of the software or stolen registration code is published on one of so called 'warez' web sites, sales decrease dramatically. So, is it the dead end?
No way! Introducing AntiPiracy 2004 by LogicSoftware, the unique software protection system, allowing for live license management and illegal software copies disabling!
Anti Piracy 2004 offers unprecedented level of protection for applications that require access to Internet. The system consists of client and server parts. The server part is installed on Microsoft IIS server. It handles the users' database, providing live licensing data to the client part. The client part (available as a DLL to be distributed with you product) acts real smart: once the application loads, it sends a query to the server including the current registration code and hardware digest. The server either responds with OK, or blocks given registration code, returning the reason for code lock-up.
This way, it is easy to implement any type of licensing: from single copy usage only to multiple licenses per one registration code. What is actually a brilliant idea is that the client DLL can pass the server query result to your application. Deciding what to do with illegal user is up to you!
AntiPiracy 2004 supports all protection systems and registration codes formats available today. It comes with comprehensive manual and code examples for most popular programming languages.
Using AntiPiracy 2004 with Internet applications ensures rock-solid protection from software piracy at an affordable price. So, go ahead and try it.

Match neighboring tiles in this ancient chinese board game. Fill up the board as much as possible with stones, each of which can be placed only adjacent to a stone that shares either its color or its name. Like all great board games, Mariko´s concept is deceptively simple, but offers a deeply complex and challenging experience. You are given a set of 72 tiles, each marked with a specific color and figure. The stones are presented one at a time, and you place them on a board with 96 slots, next to other matching pieces. The more stones that your stone touches, the more points you earn for that stone. The basic idea of matching tiles is enhanced with restrictions on the types of matches possible. Tiles are matched by color and figure, with the elusive four-way match being the best play (match two by color and another two by figure). The game is won by making the highest score possible, but you will quickly find other goals to achieve, such as using all the tiles or scoring four-way matches around the starting board. Mariko is proof that a game does not need many rules to be sophisticated. The concept is simple, yet each new move offers a wealth of possibilities to be explored, making this a perfect entry for the deep-thinking strategist.
