Chord ID trains chord identification by ear. Chord ID has three answer modes: Functions (Roman numerals), Chords (C Maj, Dmin, etc.), Qualities (Maj, min, dim). Graduated exercises begin with the easy task of identifying only the I or V chords. Select an easy level (under Levels menu) and gradually advance. Repeat as many times as necessary, then check your answer. Chord ID has 18 levels of graduated difficulty in 60 units, 20 questions in each unit for a total 1200 exercises, each with 8 individual chords. Questions are in Latin, country, rock, and jazz styles with immediate feedback and scoring.

Melodic ID provides college and conservatory level, unlimited, graduated melodic dictation in simple and compound meters with immediate feedback and scoring. Melodic ID begins with scale steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and skips of a third from a selected major or minor scale and continues through all keys, scale steps, intervals, and mixed modes. User clicks rhythm pattern buttons to notate dictated rhythm, repeats as necessary, scores rhythm, clicks screen keyboard to notate dictated melody, checks melody for errors, repeats and corrects as necessary, scores melodic dictation. Practice lowers number of required repetitions.If AutoAdvance is 'on' the program suggests when to advance automatically to more difficult questions based upon answered questions and percentage of accuracy.User selects scale, simple or compound meter, rhythm patterns, scale steps, and possible intervals in dictation.User may set Metronome, octave, and Midi sound.

Pitch ID trains pitch and interval identifcation by ear with immediate feedback and scoring. Pitch ID generates unlimited questions in every major and harmonic minor key in 15 levels of graduated difficulty. Demo has first 2 levels.Begin with pitches or intervals selected from 'do' 'mi' 'sol', scale steps 1, 3, and 5 from the selected scale. Or begin with more scale steps. Correctly identify the note or interval by clicking the screen keyboard and the program replays, shows, sounds the correct note and then sounds the next note. If you do not correctly identify the pitch or interval, the program indicates an error, repeats the note and pauses for your answer. AutoAdvance advises when to advance to questions containing more scale steps. AutoModulate advises when to change keys.
