Point Cloud is a reverse engineering software to process point clouds. Point Cloud can reconstruct a triangular mesh over a cloud of points or drape a surface over the points.
A point cloud can be created by scanning the surface of an object (surface scan) or by scanning the entire solid (solid scan). Point Cloud understands this difference and processes points differently in each case.
Point Cloud also has the ability to compensate for probe diameter. There is an inherent error with probe based scanners since they digitize points at the center of the probe. Point Cloud takes care of this very efficiently.

DPlot is a general purpose plotting program designed for scientists, engineers, and students. It features multiple scaling types, including linear, logarithmic, and probability scales, as well as several special purpose graphs: tripartite grids (shock spectra), grain size distribution plots, polar plots, contour plots of 3D data, and box-and-whisker plots and dot graphs of one or more 1D samples. Manipulation functions include FFT, filtering, and smoothing. Data can be input via a variety of file formats, copied from the clipboard, sent to DPlot from another program via dynamic data exchange, or generated by formula. TechSheet is a technical spreadsheet intended for use by scientists, engineers and technicians. This spreadsheet allows for calculations that incorporate units of measure with its associated value within each individual cell. Numerical manipulations are accomplished in a fashion that ensures consistent units of measure and automated unit conversions. The full set contains over 500 different types of units including simple ones like length and time, and complex units like power and magnetic flux. Like any good scientist, TechSheet is aware of the rules for calculating with units; so for instance if a "length" is multiplied by a "length", TechSheet will show an "area" result (meters * meters results in square meters). The software includes graphic capabilities that are also aware of the measurement units. The demo software has some limitations but is still quite handy for a considerable range of technical problems. Techsheets spreadsheet format makes it easy to learn and its use of measurement units make it a powerful technical tool.
