E-Service Center Manager (ESCM) ? software for service centers and workshops.
ESCM represents new generation of management software for service centers. It manages full life cycle of repairing and tuning ? from equipment reception to shipping repaired equipment back to customer. Along with management it provides profit and statistical analysis of activity by different types of work reports.
ESCM is built with intuitive interface bound to terms used in service industry. So, it works with "Equipment" having one or more "Defects". "Equipment" is received from "Client". After 1st stage ? "Receiving", it goes to 2nd ? "Estimating", where "Repairs" investigated to be done on this item ? and so on.
Here is brief list of stages:
- receiving;
- estimating (defects and repair pricing);
- customer approval;
- dry-out (if needed);
- repairing (in-house or subcontracted);
- quality check;
- shipping back to customer.
Each Equipment is accounted by it's Model, Model Group, Manufacturer and Serial Number, and can have one or more Accessories (also available for repair). Repair pricing are automatically calculated by Rates assigned to each Model, Accessory depending on Defect found.
As already mentioned, ESCM has great "Reports" section, covering all kinds of requests (financial, work related, summaries etc.). We can customize reports for our clients. ESCM also have strong security features, allowing assignment of proper Users to Groups accessing only to certain features of application. Also ESCM if fully language-customizable, so one can translate it quickly to his native language.
ESCM was written using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 (works under SQL 2000), COM+.
ESCM is fully customizable for customer needs, so it can be even adjusted by customer himself. More complex changes we can provide after determining specification.

A tiny, but very capable numerical calculator for Windows. It differs from others in the way you calculate your expressions: enter the whole expression at a time, like "2+3.9/7.1-3 sqr 5", and only then hit Enter to compute the value. The expression stays displayed so that you can correct or othwerise modify it, and recompute at will without having to re-enter everything from scratch.
Calculations are done with 18-digit accuracy, and the results can be displayed with adjustable precision and format (including deg/min/sec). Results can be also converted between various units of measurement.
In addition to basic arithmetic operators and 30 standard functions, Midget has 12 variables, where calculation results can be stored, and then used as arguments in other expressions, like in "2A+B/7". The status of calculations is saved to disk so that next time you run the program, you start at the point you left.
The program is continuously improved since 1996, so it reached a highly polished state. A Help file is included, and there is a Web support page.
If you are still using the crummy calculator applet included with Windows, it is time to try Midget. The chances are you'll end up using it on a permanent basis.

GRANDTOUR can simulate space as seen from the Voyager and Giotto spacecraft. In addition, GRANDTOUR can generate scenes from arbitrary points in space or the Earth, with the spacecraft visible to the observer. The planet, moons, and rings of interest (or comet, nucleus, and tail), stars, the sun, and the spacecraft are all accurately drawn with wireframe representations. Hidden line removal is done for the body surfaces. The motions of the bodies themselves are highly accurate, with errors no greater than 500 kilometers. The user has considerable control over the time step, field of view, etc., and many frames per second are typically generated. The program was originally developed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory by John D. Callahan to assist in the analysis of science and optical navigation data. In addition, the program was filmed by the BBC as part of a NOVA documentary on the Voyager Uranus encounter, and by the Four Point Entertainment Company for a commercially available video on Halley's Comet. PowerKey is an advanced encryption toolkit with many unique features which you won't come across in other products of such a kind available online. PowerKey uses encryption types, which comply with U.S. export restrictions. It allows you to perform block encryption of files and folders with any of the 8 well-known crypto algorithms (Blowfish, Cast, 3Des, Des, Gost, RC2, Rijndael, Twofish). At first, the data is compressed using zip method with ratio 0..9 (available on selection) to speed up the encryption process. After it the encryption is done and you receive a file with the extension .pkey as output. You are free to select any cipher mode to be used by the programm (we recommend using Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) Mode). One of the very useful features of PowerKey is that it allows you to create SFX packages by checking the appropriate checkbox on the encryption bookmark. PowerKey's SFX files can be extracted on any other machine running WIN 9X/NT/2000/Me/XP. Another very useful feature is Anti Password Spy protection that prevents your passwords to be read from '*****' secretly. Program also has secure deletion bookmark where you may choose what files/folders you want to wipe. PowerKey's low level Wipe is the best choice for performing 100% unrecoverable deletion. If you'd like to change the password for already created .pkey file this is provided by Change Password utility. If you spend lots of time trying to choose the password for your new package, you may use Password Generator utility which provides easy and fast generation of passwords, which are prooven to be strong (such passwords are resistant to different brute force attack metthods). Though the program works fast enough, still, you may increase it's speed up to 2 times by choosing a higher Process Priority; the fastest work is achieved with the REALTIME PRIORITY, only note that such speed-ups usually slow down the work of other programs.
