Essential NetTools is a set of network tools for diagnosing networks and monitoring your computer's network connections.
NetStat: displays the list of your computer's network connections, information on open TCP and UDP ports, IP address, and connection states. The program can map open ports to the owning application.
NBScan: a powerful and fast NetBIOS scanner. This tool provides a graphical user interface and easy management of the lmhosts file and features parallel scanning, which allows checking a class C network in less than one minute.
PortScan: an advanced TCP port scanner that allows you to scan your network for active ports. This tool features both conventional (full connect) and stealth (half-open) scanning modes.
Shares: monitors and logs external connections to your computer's shared resources, lists local shares, as well as allows to connect to remote resources that gives Windows 98/Me users NT user-level connectivity.
SysFiles: a convenient editor for the system files: services, protocol, networks, hosts, and lmhosts.
NetAudit (NetBIOS Auditing Tool): allows you to perform security checks on your network and/or individual computers offering the NetBIOS file sharing service.
RawSocket: provides you with the ability to establish low-level TCP and UDP connections to troubleshoot and test different networking services.
TraceRoute and Ping: these familiar utilities featuring customizable options and a convenient results presentation.
NSLookup: allows you to convert IP addresses to hostnames and vice versa, obtain aliases, and perform advanced DNS queries.
ProcMon: displays the list of running processes. With this tool, you can identify hidden applications, kill running processes, and manage the usage of your PC's resources more effectively.
Other features include report generation in HTML, text, and comma delimited formats; quick IP address sharing between different tools; a System Summary window.

A tool for diagnosing network and monitoring network connections. Displays all your computer's inbound and outbound connections and lists all open ports, much like the standard Windows netstat command-line utility, but in graphical interface, with protocol statistics, network properties of the local computer. Helps to detect host's activity. It includes the following tools:
* Netstat displays list of network connections, including the information on open TCP and UDP ports, IP address, and connection states. Also it displays protocol statistics.
* Ping helps to detect computer's or host's activity.
* Tracer allows you to know what hops are being used to route a packet of data from your computer to the end point.
* Route retrieves the interface-to-IP address mapping table and the IP routing table. The IP routing table is allow system to detect what IP interface will be used to process request or datagram.
* ARP displays the IP-to-physical address mapping table.

NetStatus Professional is a network monitoring application designed to monitor anywhere from 1 to 250 servers or devices on a network. NetStatus Professional has multiple test types that cover anything you might want to monitor on your network. Tests include HTTP, FTP, Telnet, Ping, Disk Space, Event Log, File Exists, NT Service Status, Performance Monitor and more. With Windows tests like Service Status and Performance Monitor tests, you can fine-tune your testing to monitor specific applications or hardware resources. NetStatus Professional enables users to remotely reboot servers, restart services, run diagnostics and generate reports via a web interface. Because it uses XML to store all data collected, there is not a heavy database overhead involved in setup. The user simply installs and opens their browser. If users need to run a trace route or arp on the machine where NetStatus Professional is running, several network utilities have been wrapped into the browser interface to allow you to run them from your desk and start diagnosing problems. In addition to email, net send and http notifications, NetStatus Professional can perform advanced actions that enable the user to remotely reboot a machine, restart a remote service, write to a text log or run an executable/batch file. NetStatus Professional also has powerful reports available through your browser and use Adobe Acrobat PDF files. All application help is available through your browser.

RegWorks is a comprehensive registry management software solution that includes registry viewer, editor, access monitor and tweaker features. The tool is absolutely essential for any system administrator who needs a fast and hassle free solution that handles various registry processing issues. RegWorks can be used to quickly change computer configuration or local user settings, backup and restore registry, transfer registry settings from one operating system to another, process registries of both active (loaded) systems and inactive (unloaded) ones. The program can also compare registry keys. In addition, RegWorks also monitors registry access. It displays names of applications and processes that access registry keys and logs all relevant data (returned function code, registry key accessed, registry values etc.). This feature is critical to quickly diagnosing and solving any access rights issues that frequently arise in the corporate network environment. Importantly, RegWorks monitor features flexible filtering options that can be easily set up to cut off information that is not needed. All data can be exported to XML, HTML or TXT files. RegWorks can also be used fine-tune predefined operating system settings, a process called tweaking. The program comes with a library of approximately 700 "tweakable" entries and allows to create and delete tweaks or tweak categories, import and export them, and also to search through tweaks. Registry backup options allow user to revert back to original settings, should anything go wrong. The program has a number of features that significantly speed up working with the registry, like options to cut, copy and paste registry values or entire registry keys. Built-in registry search engine works in the background, does not block any applications and places the results in a separate tab, where found parameters and sections are displayed. The program interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate.
