Boss Everyware keeps a log of which programs each user has run, and how much time they've spent on them. In addition, it records all of the users' keystrokes, allowing the computer owner or network administrator to answer questions about what correspondence is being created. Boss Everyware logs inactivity if the user hasn't made any clicks or keystrokes for some time. Boss Everyware makes it easy to answer questions about what new software has been installed, what software has been used and what specific web sites are being visited.
Acting as a deterrent to inappropriate computer usage, Boss Everyware can display a warning message that tells users that it is running. Or the program can be totally hidden from view, and secretly log usage information. The program can be password protected, and accessible only to the network administrator.
Boss Everyware's data logs can be written in delimiter-separated values, dBase or in a proprietary encrypted format, and exported to popular database and spreadsheet programs. The program's powerful internal reporting system lets you select data by user or by application, create filters for including or excluding information, and arrange the data in a variety of useful ways. You can control how to group the data, whether to show full URLs or just domains, whether to display the non-character keystrokes, and other functions that determine the usefulness and appearance of the reports.
Data logs written in delimiter-separated values format can be placed on write-only locations, preventing users from reading and deleting captured data.
Boss Everyware runs under Windows NT4/2000/XP/95/98/Me, including Microsoft Terminal Services and Windows XP Remote Desktop Connection. All American and European keyboards are supported.

Matrix Reports is a powerful tool for designing complicated statistical reports on your databases. Such reports are based on custom conditions for each row and column in a report and have a constant number of rows and columns. Their cells contain aggregated (count or summary) values for both row and column conditions. This is like cross-tab reports, which also contain aggregated data values, but there are some differences. In Matrix Reports the number of rows and columns does not vary depending on data. It gives more flexibility than cross-tabs because you can specify any complicated conditions for all rows and columns of your reports. Also, you can put summary values in some rows or columns and count values in the others. You can even calculate values in rows and columns as arithmetical expressions with values taken from other rows and columns. Finally, you can retrieve data for a report from more than one database at once. Your databases are accessed by a number of data engines: OLE DB, BDE, or by the special dBase driver FoxProLayer, which provides very fast access to dBase tables. After finishing a report, it can be exported into some of the maintained formats: text file, XML file, HTML, Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.

As technology advances we tend to switch to new ways of accomplishing the same tasks. Faster machines and better software increase our overall computing and information processing speed as well as overall comfort and reliability. New solutions sometimes offer expanded functionality and increased performance.
However, there are oldies-but-goldies even among data storing and processing technologies. One of such things is DBF database format used widely in system database upkeep and administration today. Despite the fact that DBF standard exists for decades it is still one of the most convenient and feature-rich database formats available on the market. What we actually need is some piece of software that can handle all the format functionality allowing us access DBF databases fast and letting us alter both data structure and the data itself on the fly. But is there a compact solution that would suit all our needs?
In fact, there is! Introducing DBF Manager by Astersoft Co., the truly innovative software intended to handle various DBF databases seamlessly.
DBF Manager supports Clipper, dBase and FoxPro databases. Database structure can be modified without data loss. Data can be edited using appropriate edit controls such as calendar for dates and memo editor for memo fields. Common index searching coupled with fast text search function allows searching for data in any of selected fields. Searching for records in a scope is also possible. Convenient index manager allows re-indexing and rebuilding indices order on the go.
Besides the far-beyond-expectations functionality DBF Manager offers convenient user interface and flexible configuration. Throw in some amazing database management features never seen in software like this before and you get the winner! Flexible licensing mechanism makes purchasing DBF Manager cost-effective both for companies and individuals. The application comes with Free Trial version available. You can download it right now!

TAS Professional is designed to be a complete application development tool for graphical operating systems. It provides application building tools for the programmer new to application development, as well as the seasoned developer demanding professional quality development tools designed to work together from the beginning. These powerful utilities include:
Data Dictionary Manager
Database Maintenance Programs
Source Code Editor
Skins Editor (future version)
Install Builder (future version)
TAS Professional 6 includes over 150 commands, each with many options, and over 230 functions that can be used in expressions. Many of the TAS Professional 6 commands can be compared to macro functions found in other high level languages. In other words, a single TAS Professional 6 command can often replace several entire lines in other languages. Add to this the ability to create User Defined Commands (UDCs) and User Defined Functions (UDFs), and you now have a very powerful development tool.
Currently, TAS Professional 6 runs only on the Windows© operating system, however, in the future we plan to run on Linux systems and directly on the Internet. Due to the design of TAS Professional, any programs you create to run on Windows© will run, without change, on these other platforms also. You will be able to change database managers at will. You won't even need to recompile the programs! This means that from the same set of programs you can have some users running Windows© some running Linux©, maybe others on platforms to come, and all can be running the exact same set of programs accessing the same database.
What TAS Professional 6 isn't? You're not going to write an operating system with TAS Professional. It isn't meant to replace programs like C++ or Delphi©. It was designed to give you the capabilities to easily and quickly develop general purpose business/financial programs with a GUI
