GlissEQ is an analog-style equalizer in PC VST plug-in format. The most
interesting thing GlissEQ offers is its dynamic equalization performance.
Using almost any existing equalizer, you always get what you have set:
e.g., if you specify a +6 dB boost at 100 Hz you get exactly a +6 dB boost
at 100 Hz, also visible on the spectrum analyser. GlissEQ offers a slightly
different approach. When you specify +6 dB at 100 Hz, you don't necessarily
get +6 dB of gain. Actual filter gain is adjusted dynamically according to the
program material you are filtering.
This `dynamic nature' of GlissEQ gives you a much more friendly, assisting
filtering experience. Boosting up the highs will not necessarily create the
fatiguing effect of overload. Instead, you will get a pleasant
transient-emphasizing effect bringing life and dimension to your track:
thus, GlissEQ sounds simply musical.
This transient emphasis works for every frequency you tune the filter
to: e.g., it can be useful at the lower and the mid frequencies to give more
punch to the track. Moreover, the strength of transient emphasis and the
overall filter gain adjustment can be controlled with a special 'Dyn'
control. In reality, this 'Dyn' control adds a whole new dimension to the
equalizer as you know it!
Beside this wonderful `dynamic nature' GlissEQ offers a built-in FFT
spectrum analyzer. Moreover, the spectrum of the track can be exported to
any other instance of GlissEQ thus making interchannel spectrum overlays
possible. This can help you to free frequency ranges in one track to allow the
instrument in another track occupying these frequencies breathe.

Installation and usage:
After installing to a IIS Virtual Folder, open Web.config from the Virtual folder and change the key conStr_def to point to your database. Please change other values if necessary.
open IE and type in as follows:
http://localhost/SQLIdl/SQLIdl.aspx
You would need to provide the correct virtual folder if you changed it during installation. Type in your SQL query and enjoy!!!
To install the command line utility, simply copy the two files SQL.exe and SQLIdl.ini to your workstation windows system32 folder, open SQLIdl.ini in notepad and provide the correct path to IIS.
Now just invoke run from Start Menu, type in your query as follows :

This distributed client/server application offers technology of database querying for users, not possessing knowledge of the SQL language. DB Query is a multi-tiered client-server application. It is partitioned into two logical units which run in conjunction on separate computers and consists of thin client and remote server. Db Query client is installed on the end user's computer. It is a simple and not demanding to resource program (thin client), running under Windows systems, has a friendly interface and allows to make database search requests quite simply. For searching in databases the access schemes are used. These schemes are clear for perception information model of the related database tables. Having formed the request, client sends it to remote server processing. The Remote server is installed in a central networking location accessible to all clients. It performs the authorized connection of clients, granting them the individual access rights, and executes incoming search queries. Client has not direct contacts with data sources, it interacts only with the user and the remote server. Direct access to data and search request processing are realized on server side and is hidden from the end user. The interaction of the client and server occurs through a local or global network by TCP/IP protocol. For data protection against unauthorized access, server uses authorized client connection through it unique login and password. Besides it, client software binds to the user's computer so, that connection to server with given login/password becomes possible only from single workplace. Our product is independent of database platform. We tested it with Oracle,DB2,Interbase,MS SQL,Sybase databases as well as with local desktop databases such as Paradox or Dbase.
