An entire disk or disk structure (folder with files and nested folders) may be compared with a copy existing on the same device (disk,cdrom,floppy) or another device. DatabaseBridge is a powerful cross-DBMS data migration, data comparison and distributed query tool that also performs validation of flat data and acts as a convenient multi-DBMS browser. It is designed to work in a cross-DBMS, multiple data source environment and to serve a broad range of relational/non-relational data sources. It has exceptional data transfer speed. A cross-DBMS data transfer job of a million records can be completed in minutes. This tool allows you to copy whole databases or selected tables, including structure, data and indexes, from one DBMS to another at high speeds. It will also transfer BLOB/CLOB data between databases. BLOB/CLOB image sound, movie clips etc are viewable from the DatabaseBridge interface. It can compare two tables from different DBMS and show their data differences. After a data comparison, you can use database bridge to transfer data, to relocate data (move data out of one database into the other), to delete data differences for synchronization or to delete data in common for redundancy removal. It can serve as a multiple database browser for you to view database structure and access data for numerous databases of different DBMS (and flat data sources) simultaneously. DatabaseBridge also performs regular, or distributed queries which access data from different databases and makes cross-DBMS table joins. For example, you can fetch data from one DBMS and insert it into another DBMS with a single SQL statement. DatabaseBridge works with any ODBC compliant database which includes all the mainstream databases such as ORACLE, SQL server, DB2, Sybase, Access, etc. In addition, DatabaseBridge works with flat data sources such as text file based table or HTML based table, or EXCEL flat database table, etc. Particularly, DatabaseBridge provides a flat data validation tool to check data integrity, including checks on uniqueness, checks on relations similar to PK-FK, checks on various kinds of user defined rules.

DBExplorer is a powerful database utility that allows you to compare any two databases and report the structural and/or data differences between them. It then enables you to synchronize the differences. DBExplorer supports any OLE DB or ODBC compliant database which includes all the mainstream databases including MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Access etc.
Database Catalog
Browse a databases schema and/or data. Provides a built in reporting tool and an export to file feature so you can document the database schema and records. An SQL query wizard allows you to select particular columns and filter specific records. It can also generate SQL DDL scripts to reproduce or record the database structure.
Compare Schema
Compare the structure or metadata between two versions of a database. The objects compared include tables, columns, views, procedures, indexes and foreign and primary keys constraints. Once the comparison is complete DBExplorer presents a detailed on-screen summary. From here DBExplorer can automatically generate the appropriate SQL statements (ie, SQL DDL - Data Definition Language) to bring the database up to date. Depending on the differences detected this may be a "CREATE TABLE/VIEW/PROCEDURE" or a "ALTER TABLE ADD COLUMN?" type statement. These generated SQL statement can be saved to a separate SQL script file for later execution or applied directly.
The entire comparison results can also be saved to a document file or printed out as a HTML report.
Compare Data
DBExplorer uses a sophisticated internal hashing algorithm to report the differences between the data stored in two databases. The databases to compare do not have to reside on the same machine or even in the same RDBM system. Comparison includes records that are identical, duplicated or having the same data but different keys as well as being present in only one of the databases. Once the comparison is complete you can choose to synchronise selected records to one or other database.
