Happy Note! Notes in Space is a full-fledged arcade-type computer game that's both fun and educational. It will teach you about relative note durations (whole notes, half notes, quarter notes) even as you play and have fun. You'll be shooting at space faring notes from your very own spaceship.When you hit a whole note, it will split into 2 half notes. When you hit one of these half notes, it will split into 2 quarter notes. What then? Play the game and find out! For now, let's just say that you can gain extra lives by shooting down comets, and lose them almost as fast if a meteor collides with your spaceship. With its three levels of difficulty (Beginner, Advanced, Expert) and other options, Happy Note! Notes in Space is suitable for players of all ages.

Music notes are dropping from the treble clef at the top of your screen. Using your keyboard's left and right arrow keys, your objective is to steer each note so it lands on its name at the bottom of the screen.
But be careful : if a falling note collides with a dynamite stick, it explodes and you lose one Life!

You can let the game teach you from scratch (with the Learning menu) or use it as a fun complement to more traditional lessons (by selecting yourself the notes you want to play with). Learn the 21 notes of the Bass Clef and Treble Clef. The program displays the notes on the staff, and you press the name of the letter. If you get it wrong, the program displays the name above the staff. You then press the correct name to proceed. If you manage to correctly identify all of the notes, you qualify for the Hall of Fame, and your name and time get listed for posterity.
The demo version only displays 11 notes, and always in the same order. It does not support the hall of fame feature.
