DirSize is a command line tool that can easily be automated to generate nightly reports of disk space usage, network space hogs and very large folder trees. Reports can be sorted and small folders can be prevented from being displayed. Both 32 bit and 16 bit versions are included, all support long filenames. Full scrolling support in either direction. Now includes HTML output option.
Its uses include:
Finding space hogs on a network
Finding multiple copies of a single application on a server
Finding which folders could be archived to save space (typically those that contain lots of small files)
Finding where most of the disk space is used
Finding applications to remove before installing a new one
Previewing the benefits of a smaller cluster size
Generating daily, weekly or monthly reports showing how the disk space distribution has changed. You can easily generate tab- or comma-delimited output to feed directly into your favourite spreadsheet for further analysis

If your Java program has been thoroughly tested but still error-prone,
the Wasp analyser can help to detect subtle run-time errors
and weak points in your program.
The following kinds of errors may be statically detected:
null pointer exception, impermissible cast,
array index out of bounds, division by zero, etc.
The following kinds of weak points may be detected:
uninitialised variable,
unreachable branch in conditional or switch statement,
unreachable loop body or catch clause,
assignment of variable whose value is never used,
unreachable main exit of method, etc.
Wasp produces detailed and precise method call graph.
The method call graph of a program helps to know for each method
what actual methods are called in its body.
Additionally, for each method you may know where this method may be called.
In comparison with other static error analysers,
Wasp has two important advantages.
Wasp is able to distinguish between a definite error,
a possible error (warning), and a potentially erroneous situation.
In the latter case, Wasp produces a message called
conditional error that in practice appear to indicate an error
in approximately one case from five.
Wasp performs context-sensitive data flow analysis,
so it is able to recognize an error that appears only for some calls
of the method containing it, but does not for other ones.
All known to us static analysers (e.g. QStudio Java, MetaMata Audit, etc)
that statically detect run-time errors may produce
only long lists of warnings because they
can not recognize definite errors in a program due to weak
analyses applied. A user has to waste much time to analyse all warnings.
Wasp has proven its ability to find subtle bugs in programs even
after debugging and testing stages of development because Wasp

Maple is a useful document manager that enables you to create your own hierarchical trees for storing information such as documents, notes, and images. Selecting Add Node from the Tree menu creates a new branch for your growing tree, which you can name or later rename. You can create unlimited nodes and sub-nodes and assign any document to each node. Clicking on the Delete Children button will delete all child nodes of a selected node. Choosing Collapse All or Expand All will expand or collapse your tree. Documents can be loaded from file and saved in .rtf, .txt, .doc, .wri, or .html format. Maple supports rich text formatting as well as drag-and-drop.

PyroTrans is an EuroFile transfer package (client, server and batch mode), that allows users to manually or automatically exchange files between computers which are connected via ISDN, Modem or Internet. The product is targeted at software developers, users and companies who require easy and reliable file transfer, either manually or controlled by other software.
The server component PyroServer is typically used in environments who allow multiple users to download files from or send files to the server (e.g. a driver download center) or multiple users to send files (eg. a print shop where customers transmit their Postscript files) . Users are identified by their user name and can be verified by passwords. It can be controlled per user if they are allowed to receive and/or send files.
The client component PyroClient can manuall call PyroServers over ISDN, modem or internet or third party EuroFile servers (via a direct ISDN connection). It looks like an Explorer Window and files can be transmitted via drag and drop.
The batch component can be controlled by script files or by other software to initiate a connection and do file transfers in an automated fashion, e.g. for a nightly transmission of company data between the comany and branch offices.
