Responsive KnowledgeBase is a helpdesk tool that allows you to record solutions to tech support problems and search for those solutions in the future. That is, it lets you create a database of technical problems and their solutions. When a customer calls in with a problem, you can quickly search the database to see if that problem has been solved in the past. If it has, RKB displays the solution.
Here's an example:
A user calls in and says that when she uses your application and tries to print, the screen flashes orange, and the application crashes with the message "Instruction at 0x780012f3 referenced memory at 0xaa000000". You work on the problem, and determine that the problem is solved if the user upgrades to the latest HP Printer Driver.
You start RKB, and click the Add button. The Problem/Solution dialog appears and you type in both the reported problem and the solution.
One month later, another user calls in and says "Hey man, every time I want to produce a printout, the screen flashes orange, and your program crashes!"
You type "Orange" into RKB's Find box, press Enter, and the screen displays all the problems which have the word "Orange" in them.
You see a problem that seems to match the one that the current user is having, so you double click on it. The Problem/Solution dialog appears, and shows you that the solution is for the user to upgrade to the latest HP printer driver.
You read the solution to the caller, and you're done.
To recap, you use RKB to enter a large number of problems and their solutions. When users call with tech support questions or problems, RKB searches through the database and finds all of the relevant solutions.

A completely new game! No, really! Not just an old game with a different name and better graphics and enough little changes to evade copyright, but a whole new game concept. It's not Tetris. It's not Columns. It's not Puzzle Bobble. It's... Drippy!
It's a simple enough concept. Catch colored drips in your beaker and sort them into big gooey blobs. Drop stars into each blob - two stars and the blob explodes. The bigger the blob, the more points you get for blowing it up. Simple. Addictive. You'll soon be using Drippy-player catch-phrases like "Orange! What do you mean, orange?" and "No! Not THERE!!" Appears to suck time into some kind of black hole.
Remember, we aren't saying this game is addictive out of pure marketing hype. We're saying this because people play this game and tell us "Hey, this game is really addictive".
Play with the mouse or keyboard, your choice.

Are you a Minesweeper maniac? Then you have got to check out Mega Miner.
The Mega Miner game area consists of three mine counters and the playing field.
To uncover a square, use the left mouse button to click it. If it is a mine, you lose. If a number appears on the square, it specifies the summarised power of all mines in eight squares that surround the numbered square.
The power of the smallest mine is 1, medium - 2, the biggest - 3.
To mark a square you suspect contains a 1-power mine, use the right mouse button to click it. Click once more to mark 2-power mine. And to mark 3-power mine just click three times.
If you consider all mines are found around a numbered square, uncover the remaining squares around it by clicking the numbered square with the middle or left and right mouse buttons simultaneously.
The object of the game is to find all the mines on the playing field as quickly as possible without uncovering any of them.

The window that appear as Find Shortcuts starts is similar to the Find Files window that comes with Windows 98. Most of the elements (menus, buttons, etc.) should be familiar.
Shortcuts always have a "target" which will be invoked. Depending on the target, the shortcut may open a folder, run a program, open a document, play a music file, open a web page, and so forth. When "Test" is selected (from the Edit menu, clicking the Test button, or by pressing F7), Find Shortcuts checks the target of each shortcut to see if it is valid. Since shortcuts can have a variety of targets, testing can involve various actions, but in most cases Find Shortcuts simply checks to see if the target exists on your system.
During testing, a progress bar appears in the second portion of the status bar. If any shortcuts fail the test, that part of the status bar will indicate how many failed. Shortcuts that pass the test will display a green check mark beside the filename. Those that fail will have a red "X" and the entire line for that shortcut will be red a
If the Named box is left empty, Find Shortcuts will search for all shortcuts. Otherwise, only shortcut filenames matching the search string will be found. Wildcards (* and ?) can be used, but are often not necessary. For example, entering "ms" in the Named box will locate all shortcuts which contain "ms" (or "MS") anywhere in their filename. The Named box also includes a drop down list of previous search strings.
The Types box can limit the search to only certain types of shortcuts. This can be useful if you are searching through large numbers of shortcuts (e.g., the entire Start Menu).
Once you click Find Now (or press Enter) you will see search results (if any shortcuts matching the search criteria are found). Once you see files you can test the shortcuts.

Text Ticker is a little program which scrolls the contents of a text file at the top or bottom of the screen. The text appears in a so-called "appbar" which is similar the the Windows Taskbar. All settings- font, color, text file, etc.- are saved between sessions.
Any text file- in fact, any file at all- can be dropped on the ticker and the program will begin to scroll that file's contents. A file can also be browsed for and loaded by selecting Load File on the menu.
Left-clicking the tray icon alternately shows and hides the ticker.
The popup menu is available by right-clicking either the ticker or the tray icon. Select Options to open the Options window.
The Options available:
- Font can use any font installed on your system, including any size and color available. Note that some combinations may not work well.
- Font Color gives you more precise control of the font color.
- Back Color selects the main, or background, color of the ticker.
- Show the ticker at the top or the bottom of the screen;
- Display (or not) an icon in the Windows System Tray (next to the clock). If the tray icon is disabled, it will still show up if the ticker is hidden.
- Auto Reload will reload the file every so many seconds.
- Scroll Distance is how many pixels the text moves at a time.
- Scroll Delay is how often, in milliseconds, the text moves. Note that some combinations may not work well. Speed can also be adjusted with the arrow keys on the keyboard. The left and right arrows decrease and increase the scroll distance. The up and down arrows alter the scroll delay. Of course, the ticker must have "focus" for the keys to work, so click on the ticker first.
