QuickButtons allows you to create an AppBar with buttons that simulate keystrokes. An AppBar is like the Windows Task Bar - a bar that sits at the bottom or top of your screen. A QuickButtons Button Bar will sit happily above the Windows Task bar and will stay visible at all times so that you can work with your favourite applications and click on QuickButtons buttons whenever you need to. By assigning tricky keystrokes to large buttons complicated key sequences can be reduced to a single click. Buttons can be made quite large to increase the target area, reducing the chance for error. QuickButtons was originally written for Mark Weidmann, who suffers from MD, to try and make the use of his computer easier and it is hoped that QuickButtons will benefit others who find using keyboard shortcuts difficult or prefer to use the mouse. Mark enjoys playing on-line games and communicating with his Internet friends. Some of his games have awkward keystrokes that make playing them rather less enjoyable. QuickButtons lets him replace those keyboard sequences with simple buttons that are always available on the screen. Multiple Button Bars can be created and more than one can be active at one time. This means you can have Button Bars for different applications, or groups of applications. For instance you could create a Microsoft Office Button Bar, one for your favourite game and another for your email program.

ToolBar is a small utility that lets you launch your favorite programs from the Windows desktop. Click the left mouse button to launch an application or the right button to define a new ToolBar button. You can also drag and drop a file icon or shortcut directly onto the ToolBar to quickly define a new button. ToolBar lets you organize your programs and utilities into 16 button groups. ToolBar is implemented as an AppBar window similar to the MS Explorer Taskbar and can be optionally configured to AutoHide itself. ToolBar can also be configured as a standard floating window with Taskbar tray access.

CustomBar is a bar that is always visible, much like the taskbar. Unlike the taskbar, you can place almost anything you want on it. This is accomplished through a scripting/plugin/skinning system that is powerful enough to create some basic apps in. C++ plugins can be used to further extend functionality. This allows users to create or download additional components for their bar. An editor is provided for easily creating bars.
CustomBar comes with many standard "prefabs", including Winamp controls, web search, volume controls, shortcuts, a mini notepad, system stats, template copier, recycle bin quick-empty, clock, shortcuts to special windows dialogs and much more. Additional prefabs can be downloaded online.
Full skin support allows CustomBar to be adjusted to fit any Windows theme. The small height of the bar makes it possible to use it without losing large amounts of precious screen space.

Text Ticker is a little program which scrolls the contents of a text file at the top or bottom of the screen. The text appears in a so-called "appbar" which is similar the the Windows Taskbar. All settings- font, color, text file, etc.- are saved between sessions.

Any text file- in fact, any file at all- can be dropped on the ticker and the program will begin to scroll that file's contents. A file can also be browsed for and loaded by selecting Load File on the menu.
Left-clicking the tray icon alternately shows and hides the ticker.
The popup menu is available by right-clicking either the ticker or the tray icon. Select Options to open the Options window.
The Options available:
- Font can use any font installed on your system, including any size and color available. Note that some combinations may not work well.
- Font Color gives you more precise control of the font color.
- Back Color selects the main, or background, color of the ticker.
- Show the ticker at the top or the bottom of the screen;
- Display (or not) an icon in the Windows System Tray (next to the clock). If the tray icon is disabled, it will still show up if the ticker is hidden.
- Auto Reload will reload the file every so many seconds.
- Scroll Distance is how many pixels the text moves at a time.
- Scroll Delay is how often, in milliseconds, the text moves. Note that some combinations may not work well. Speed can also be adjusted with the arrow keys on the keyboard. The left and right arrows decrease and increase the scroll distance. The up and down arrows alter the scroll delay. Of course, the ticker must have "focus" for the keys to work, so click on the ticker first.
